@Buzduganjr That's what I mean, this could have happened to anyone, to any system. People should stop attacking Sony, and instead go, "mm..what can I do to protect my self." or, "Mm I wonder what we should all do to fight against hacking and theft." because trust me, the situation is far more dangerous than just Sony's firewall status, or lack there of. If this happened to Microsoft's Live status. Id honestly feel for the members because this is a very ugly situation. Time's like these, Gamers need to be Gamers and support each other.
I said it once, and I'll say it again. If this whole situation is bothering people so much, then just switch consoles. Really, honestly. No one wants you to be forced to play a specific gaming machine if it really upsets you that they have been hacked. I do understand that sony did slack off, no one is saying they didn't. But would it have mattered? Bigger, stronger, and more terrifying things have been hacked just as easily. Every online service has also had their fair share of quirks. Nintendo's system is full of issues with friend codes and actual connection. Microsoft has had their servers down for an entire month before on emergency maintenance. Who isn't to say that wasn't because of hackers? They have tried to lie before..every corperation does, to try and protect it self. So in short form, if you want to leave the ps3 because of this problem. Then maybe you never really wanted it to begin with, because this stuff does not bother me. my Credit Card has been stolen before over the net..it didn't need a gaming system to be hacked. It was just taken. It's easy.
I have used XP, Vista, and 7. For those people saying Vista wasn't that bad it justt had few problems, those few problems were huge unless you had an over powered rig. Luckily I decided to stay with XP but my friend that has vista would always crash out of games, or lock up after long periods of gaming and no his pc wasn't a push over. After trying windows 7.. I can say that its like the true son of XP and Vista was an adopted secret from another low quality family. Though, I do believe that people who bought vista should AT LEAST get a discount. MS owes it to those people..for real.
Ah, my last comment is this, 360 people you have nothing to prove if you love your gears of war and halo games. PS3 people, you have nothing to prove for graphics when reviewers were ripping their eyes out at Metal Gear Solid 4. I just wish people could pay 300-400 dollars for a system and just go home and play it instead of jumping on gamespot which was designed to give reviews on games, and talk about the really small insecure things like graphical content. ENJOY your games darnit!
Hey BobbyBobby, I see you are on the same planet as me, I thought I was the only one! I wish people would stop nitpicking. If PS3 still looked like PS2, then they would have something to talk about.
Hmm seems as much as I suspected, as should any normal, sane person. The exclusives for PS3 are really graphical, where as the games that are on both systems can either be better on 360 or PS3 or the same. Soul calibur 4 looks the same on both, fallout 3 a bit better on 360. Bla bla, this is all really pointless
Ahhh, PS3 has come along way though, even 360 loyal only people must realize that. But now the difference is so small, that, it doesn't really matter what system you get, just get the system that has the most appeasing exclusives to you.
Ahh got to love those fanboys from the other far reaches of the gaming world. Id like to play a video game on the T.V because you know, it's on a T.V! Much clearer, bigger picture. Don't kid your self fanboys (and no I support all systems FYI) the psp is selling more, and this new redesign is uber sexy.
