Wow. Bravo. Well said. I hope Microsoft is listening.
Never even heard of Nordic games before, but at least Darksiders has a home. I hope it's in good hands at least.
Maybe this is part of their reevaluation process after the resignation of their president? I think at this point Square Enix has got to focus more on their flagship opus -- their role-playing game portfolio.
I keep going back to the old adage that continues to stand the test of time in the video game world -- graphics and performance mean nothing if there is no fun factor. Nobody wants a Cadillac without an engine; or colorful beads without a string holding them together to make a necklace. It just doesn't work. It's tragic to see development studios shuttered because of pressure to make AAA games that emphasize style over substance.
I know this ain't no April Fool's joke. Kinda wish it was now.
It's a honor to be a Justicar! Hope to do a good job, and looking forward to working with the others as well :)
I got a PM inviting me to become a Justicar, and I said yes -- do I still need to fill in an application?
Epic Mickey had good ideas, but poor execution. I'm really sorry it had to end like this, especially with Warren Spector. I wish him the best in his future adventures.
I'd have to say I agree with you on this one, Tom. As much as I love Nintendo, I was quite disappointed with their news conference. They've apologized twice already for both the 3DS and the Wii U. That, to me, isn't a good sign. They really need to stop saying sorry and start breaking ground before they find themselves sinking in it.
I'm guessing that drinking blood is a major factor in the gameplay.
