Nope, when its done its done. Dont even try to convince them otherwise. I went through the same thing. My step up ran out on my old 7800 about two weeks before the new cards came out and they said "no way".

Same. I heard the rumor that a new one was coming out, sold my phat to some guy for $180, then bought the new one for 200 with daxter, 1gig card, and the family guy dvd. SO worth it. Oh, and, yes. THe back of my PSP slim is scratched to hell. Especially the silver ring on the back.
