It's not really a fix, but you can always just use HDMI for video and use your standard audio cable at the same time. I have to do this because my TV has no speakers, so I have to hook the audio cables up to my stereo.

well i mean... it is Square Enix were talking about, it very well could take 14 years, at their current rate with their big projects.
You have to remember that this would be a remake though. They don't have to come up with a story, characters, gameplay mechanics, and so on

This gen is boring. I could call out probably 20+ games that are almost just like COD. I've played maybe 10-15 games this gen that I found unique, original, etc. out of over what....200?

You could call out 20 games that were just like Mario or Street Fighter 2 on the NES/SNES. Great games always inspire copy cats, you don't have to play them. I have little knowledge about fighting games, but in general games were much more unique back then. For example, I googled "first person shooters in 2011" and what immediately came up was a list of 14 big name shooters out, or coming out, in 2011 that looked quite similar. If it makes money, it's going to be copied, that is inevitable, but at the same time, half of the big games that come out each year are just the same kind of shooter. Copy/Paste
