'Almost, but not quite' sums this game very well.

Supreme Commander is an original and promising franchise based on a Chris Taylor's 1997 hit Total Annihilation. The old game was praised for it's smooth gameplay, advanced physics and originality, and it has won many awa... Read Full Review

New patches and DLC took this from a mediocre game to a good game, well worth your money.

This game got slammed hard by users upon release. Brutal, half thought out 1 star reviews. Good honest reviews of 5-6 out of 10. Patch after patch the game evolved into something better. But, first, the game: The game... Read Full Review

Wonderful - Not Given Enough Credit

I don't actually consider this game a 10. I gave it a 10 because I want to balance out the user score. I think it's more of an 8.5. I played Supreme Commander when it first came out and I played on GPG net a lot. I'm a ... Read Full Review

    Franchise killer

Oh, where to begin? From the overly simplistic gameplay, the badly done research thingie, the extra-small maps, the total absence of anything even remotely resembling strategy? Or the ripping off of the entire economic e... Read Full Review

    Do not buy

If you liked the 1st supreme commander DO NOT buy the 2nd. They took the wide range of different units and reduced to a tiny hand full. All the units are the same just with a diffrent name and slightly different function... Read Full Review

If you played and loved TA or SC or SC:FA, this game is not for you, if you like C&C type games, welcome!

I waited for this game since it was announced, and welcomed the Idea of upgrades and better path-finding but, this is not what I signed up for. Where are my 3 tiers of technology, where is the depth of the old game, and ... Read Full Review
