Ascension is great game and quite satisfying with updated feel to the control. It feels short for an adventure game.
In my opinion I feel that Ascension is a brilliant game, there was an update to the feel of the combat system. The control takes a while getting familiar to since the other god of war games, once you are familiar with th... Read Full Review

Ascension may be "more of the same" but thats not a bad thing when it comes to God of War.
What can I say about Ascension? First of all, yes, its just a retouched God of War III with less epic moments but it compensates the lack of amazing setpieces when compared to its predecessor with a revamped combat gamep... Read Full Review

Ignore the naysayers, this is an enjoyable experience
I was rather surprised to hear people slate this game saying it wasn't as good as the other titles and to be fair to them, I can see why they may think that but to me this game is amazing. It's more gruesome than it's pr... Read Full Review

Since the very beginning of the game you will feel the great sense of scale. The environment change and move fast and frequently you are part of the environment changes. Very impressive game in term of graphics. Better t... Read Full Review

Ascension is the God of War you'd expect: colossal in its scale, technically majestic, insanely gruesome and fun.
God of War: Ascension follows the footsteps of the franchise in practically every way. From the quick time events riddling the otherwise chaotic combat, to the puzzles scattered throughout the world, Ascension delivers a... Read Full Review

It's the same God of War, but its lost a bit of its pizazz. It's so short that you might as well rent it.
I heard that God of War: Ascension was about an eight hour game so I decided to pick it up from a redbox and blitz through it really quickly. I would recommend this because paying $60 for an eight hour game seems a bit r... Read Full Review

Kratos swings again, but so much was missed, from making this the best GOW. A great game, but still lacks behind GOW3.
So the game is a prequel to the series, most fans know it all by now. Kratos the famed anti-hero , begins his madness. His mind begins to fall more into the clutches of blind anger, and rage, losing is sanity, and any hu... Read Full Review
