I rented this game just see if it was fun to play. I had already beaten the two God of War games on the PSP, so I wasnt sure what to expect on this game. Ive never played GOW 3 or the PS2 stuff, but Ive seen videos. This game is a hack and slash, all blood and guts. I honestly feel maybe I am too old for this sort of game now. I wanted to enjoy it, but I felt like I was playing something I had already played. The graphics were really good though, in this game Kratos has beef with 3 sisters who are like the wardens of some Greek prison. At the start of the game Kratos is locked up, but escapes to deal with the 3 sisters. You basically walk or run from point A to B killing creatures and monsters that get in your way just like on the other PSP games I played. Kratos brutality kills these creatures & monsters is a very violent and sometimes comical way. My girlfriend was sitting with me while I was playing and the game play gave a few "OMG" moments, but I was kinda meh, being that again I had already seen this sort thing before. If you have never played a GOW game and you come across this, I say pick it up at least for the easy Trophies. If you have already played other titles, you can skip this. The game doesnt suck, it plays well, but its nothing new. Nothing against Kratos or the series, but Sony needs to give this franchise a break They made 5 games this generation alone. Again not saying this is a bad game because its not, but GOW 3 was the top dog of this series.
