While not unenjoyable, it feels like a poor man's God of War.
Darksiders was clearly created to follow in the footsteps of other, better games. I mean Zelda and God of Wars and Arkham Asylum/City. Y'know the drill: unlock new tools and weapons and get new treasures and collect o... Read Full Review

Darksiders is an amazing adventure/Beat em up game, that is hampered by some bad mechanics but still a great game.
First things first I will start with the little details before I go into the game as a whole. The graphics are great, nothing too special, but for what they are, they look pretty damn good, The controls are not bad but a... Read Full Review

Darksiders is simply put one entertaining game....
I've never spent 43 hours on a game except Darksiders. The game is so fine that I could not simply stop myself from playing it. The game mechanics is awesome and the powers War gains are something of a dream. You can do ... Read Full Review

Action, puzzle, mystery and dark setting all in one.
Darksiders is one the rare games which I not like, but actually love. Although it isn't anythig revolutionary (let's be honest, they stole a lot of ideas from other games), they really made a great mash-up of various gen... Read Full Review

Fun, engaging, but drawn out and eventually tedious
The most notable thing I found with Darksiders its unashamed derivation from the Zelda series. The first dungeon you enter you receive a shuriken with a limited range that returns to you aka boomarang, later on you recei... Read Full Review

Darksiders may not have the best gameplay compared to any hack and slash, but the story makes it recommendable.
In the realm of gaming, there are many different kinds of genres one can condense to make a game play and feel fresh. Many such games have gone that route and not only made games that are considered classics to this day... Read Full Review

Very good game if you are in need of mass destruction
The good: Mass destruction - Well balanced fights - Classic but amazing story The bad: Tastes like a quick porting on PC Darksiders is not the genere of game I'm usually been attracted to. I use to prefer less action... Read Full Review

Darksiders was pretty decent game all around. I wouldn't say it was spectacular in any one way, it was what you'd expect
Darksiders was pretty decent game all around. I wouldn't say it was spectacular in any one way, it was what you'd expect from a third person styled hack and slash. It combines level up capabilities with exploration and c... Read Full Review

This might be the most poorly designed game I've ever played.
With the release of darksiders II, i thought I'd give darksiders a try. So I bought it on steam for $20. Big mistake. This game is terrible. It was designed by people who hate video games and who have never played... Read Full Review
