Pft... I think that is part of history they rather forget, if you hear what I am saying. :|

Though, with that being said, I do not what is, however, there is something I find to be very appealing about out-doors wrestling show (probably unique factor, if I had to make guess).

It would be funny if it would rain.

But anyway Wrestlemania 24, is 1 year older then me, but so what, I don't care, and now I'm just rambling.

But there is a point to this post and that is that I'm going to really enjoy this years 'mania.

if you guys are going to WM 24, i strongly urge you to check out the Ring of Honor shows the nights before, Friday and Saturday.

there shows are in the Orlando Downtown Recreation Complex which is a GREAT location and building. i know Hall of Fame is the night before WM, but even if you don't go or do, you should still check out the Friday show. ROH always delivers when it comes to ROH and you'll 100% most likely see the top 3 matches of the weekend on those ROH shows.

I don't think so, I think it's made out of Metal and Fabric, but the Fabric could get soggy, but I remember back at Wrestlemania XI there was a sort of like a roofing top over the ring, just so I guess if it would rain.

Undertaker eventuallys wins the title, and Cena goes after him for the title. Superman then ends Takers WM streak and retires him, then goes on to make his own undefeated WM streak.

If it does rain on the canvas, I doubt it would be made so flimsy, though it would become very slippery, which is just as dangerous.

In the event of rain, I'd be far more concerned with the lighting and the electonics than I would be about the ring. Also, If I were to guess, I'd also suspect that they'll protect the ring itself pretty well from the rain with their lighting rig.

I was at that show, and it honestly made for an interesting night. Granted, I would have liked to see some more of Evans flipping like a madman, but it was funny as hell to see Nigel do his corner avoidance thing and kick the tarp so water would get off the top.

GBHV Night 1 is actually the second tent show in ROH History. The first one was the Generation Next show, when ROH got bumped out of Philly's National Guard Armory because... well... the National Guard needed it. The weather was quite a bit better, it was a bigger ten and it was a decidedly better show (if you can guess at what happened).

If there were ever a show that I wish could get a "do-over" its GBH V Night 1. Its an entertaining show as it is, but one can only wonder what could have been, ya know, if it hadn't been in a freakin' tent.

Although I agree with the tent arguement, I still think they put on a good show considering the circumstances that forced them outside. As for Generation Next show, I assumed he was speaking of GBH V N1 because of the rain that curtailed the quality of the show.
-- Triple H is favoring a match between himself and John Cena at WrestleMania, instead of a match against Randy Orton. Michael Hayes is suggesting that they promote the match like boxing by calling it "HHH-Cena II". Also, Triple H wants to turn heel at some point in the near future.
It would be nice if "HHH-Cena II" wasnt a title match. Cause I really dont wanna see it. But theres really no one for Orton to face.

Man, I wish WWE wouldnt have F'd up Jerichos return, then he could of faced Orton.

I'd say Flair's a possibility, if Wrestlemania is going to be Flair's last stand. They've worked pretty well together in the past, they have a nice history to work with and it'd be another notch on the Legend Killer's belt, to keep him around the main event scene.

I think him going in MITB again would be a step down.

And while its the type of match I'd like to see on a grander scale than an undercard match for Wrestlemania, it doesn't really look like Batista's got a dance partner for Mania. While their previous matches haven't delivered, its been a while and it'd be Wrestlemania, so motivation shouldn't be a problem. I think Batista vs Orton would sell a few PPVs.

Batista could face Big Daddy V, and someone may tag with Batista to also take one Mark Henry, you know like a tag match Henry and V Vs. Batista and (maybe just to throw a name in there) Kane.

IDK though if that would be a good enough match for WWE and Wrestlemania 24.

That Superstars of WM DVD looks like a nice collection to add. I'm a bit surprise at the Undertaker and/or Batista choice pick or is it WWE picks?! Anyways, I would've think their match with each other was a better choice.

That is a really odd set. I suppose its purpose is more to show each of the featured wrestlers winning at Wrestlemania, because it hardly features most of them at their best. I mean seriously, the best you can come up with for Bret Hart is Yokozuna, from Wrestlemania X. That wasn't even Bret's best match on the show... by far. It reminds me of the Coliseum Video days, where they'd release some really weird stuff.

Though, its an easy way to make a buck, because how hard can that set be to put together and very few of those matches are selling other Wrestlemania DVDs (if they're even available)?

Wow. Wrestlemania or not, anybody would have a hard time convincing me that anything WWE could put together would be worth that, much less what they will put together. There aren't many 4 hours of wrestling that would be worth that much, IMO.
