I think inconstancy is a good thing myself. It's such a shame to restrict yourself to one genre and not dabble into other interesting and equally good genres. It's good to experiment every once in a while.

I prefer hearing what I think over what other people think :P

Jabro. Also, I feel that they probably haven't even given the album much of a chance. It's possible that they found the CD around the house and listened to a few songs just so a negative review could be written. I have rules for review writing (with music):

1. Listen with an open mind
2. Listen until I know each song well

I like listening to death metal and expecting clean vocals. I definitely won't be disappointed then!
