it only "flopped" because of the tech issues, and even then it STILL got an 8.5, They wont make the same mistake, simply because they know the hardware better.
Didn't flop, it was a great game. I played it on both PC and 360, and well, driving the mako was better on the 360 and the shooting on 3rd person mode was better on PC. I'd play the second one on either PC or console tho... as long as its on an MS OS with KB&M or 360 controller.. i jsu cant play anything on that crappy ps3 controller design.
AAA on gamespot, AAA on meta, AAA on GR. Thats not what he meant. He was stating the 1st KZ flopped but the second one came out good. He is pretty much say the same thing can happen with Mass Effect 2. Also Mass Effect one wasn't even a bad game it had a few tech issue but it was still playable.
the new trailer looks horrible and has framerate issues.

Ok I just had to address this post, because clearly you haven't actually watched any trailers for mass effect 2 yet.
Anyway it got a 9.0 on PC, and imo was criminally underrated on the 360 anyway, so I have very high hopes that the sequel is also AAA quality. It's not like it missed the mark by a million miles either, I was much more surprised by KZ2 AAA than I would be by ME2 AAA.
Pffft, one of the best "flops" I have played this gen, I'll tell you that much.

Agreed. Nearly three 40 hour runs for me. Even 15 times through Dead Rising is only 90 hours. Mass Effect was just so good. I just wish the planetary exploration was more detailed and more of a primary element. Many people would disagree, but I loved driving around in the Mako jumping dunes and driving off cliffs.
If Mass Effect is considered a flop, I hope every single game that comes out for the rest of this gen flops just as hard, because Mass Effect is ****ing awesome.
