Do you consider Halo 5 a top tier exclusive?

@sholoza: yup...I bash Halo 5 bc I don't play multiplayer FPS on console and the single player for Halo 5 seems weak.

So whether or not there's an exclusive like it on PS4...it doesn't bother me.

@mems_1224: BF4 campaign was garbage so yes it loses a lot of points for that. The MP being so different from most shooters on console kinda saved it for me though.

If it had not been a launch game I probably would not have bought it.

It's something but it isn't everything. When your game is consistently low scored like MS though then we have an issue.

The only top-tier exclusive the Xbox One has is Forza 6. While the PS4 has Bloodborne. It's like two homeless dudes arguing about which of their dollar bill is less crumpled.

You have a genuine bias. You claim to own an XB1, but do nothing but talk shit about it, and make hate threads about it, so that's why no one will believe your "genuine" opinion. I can understand people will have gripes against the XB1 I have a few myself, but you take it to unhealthy levels and I can't recall you saying anything positive about the XB1 console you paid money for. If its that bad then why don't you sell it and be done with it.

@i_p_daily: I don't care if people believe me or not. MS don't really give you any reason to praise so that's far in between with me. I hang on the Xbone because of BC. That's really it since Gears 4 will likely be on PC too.

Also when you create a platform that is objectively inferior to the competitor then of course there will be a bias. It was that way for me early last gen when I favor 360 over PS3. We all have a bias and I guarantee you do too.

I fully expect Gears 4 to be on PC so that is not the reason I still hang on to my Xbone. It's for 360 BC. If you check out my GT you see that I play a lot more 360 than I do Xbone titles by a HUGE margin. Halo 5 is not a good game. The campaign was ruined for me with auto AI teammate revive and the multiplayer is the worst I've experienced in the series, albeit not awful.

Very disappointing, I even considered Halo 4 a brilliant game but this one is just too far gone.

In a market over-saturated with PvP FPS games, Halo 5 is still the gold standard.

BF, COD, Destiny, Battlefront are all mediocre to garbage tier games. Doom seems decent so far. Titanfall is top notch, and halo 5 is the gold standard for what a FPS should be.

Battlefield is not garbage tier, stop talking bullshit. It has more depth than any of the other games you listed including Halo. Battlefield has the most depth out of any of the popular FPSs on consoles.

halo is the gold standard. 100% balanced. everyone has the same weapons, movement, health, armor, equal spawn points and abilities. the TTK is high so even "cheap" camping strategies don't work. The better player will won most of the time even if the worse player got the drop on them and even if they are 2v1. Dedicated servers give a premiere experience. all the maps are free DLC so the player base isn't split. It's the exact model every game should follow. Plus their skill based match making makes it competitive and not unbalanced teams most of the time. Not to mention a wealth of game play modes. ability to make your own modes, maps, and private lobbies. Plus the monthly rank reset helps if you've taken time off and are rusty. Plus the amount you played the game has no effect on advantage other then experience unlike say destiny or division where you have better gear/weapons.

You could make a personal opinion argument that you don't like the gameplay in itself, but it doesn't change the fact that the game design of the PvP is as perfect as you can get.

May be gold standards for console noobs but it doesn't even come close to Battlefield.

The lack of real bullet drop in Halo already disqualifies it IMO. This is what a real skill based FPS based on depth and challenge looks like...

I have PC, PS4, and X1. I play a ton of shooters. including TF2, CS:GO, Halo, BF4, BF hardline, CoD (stopped playing after ghost), doom beta Titanfall, just to name a few recently. Even signed up for the law breakers beta and overwatch open beta coming soon. If you wanna throw in TPS's i played the UC4 beta and playing the gears beta currently (already hit level 20 for my reward) So yeah, you are a joke because BF is probably the worst shooter out there outside of killzone. It's just a terrible mess of a game and that's not even including the fact it was broken for the 1st 6 months after launch. Hell I even played shooters when it was just becoming an online thing like unreal tournament.

So now that your console pleb, and lemming arguments are gone how about responding to what i said about the actual PvP mechanics. The lower the TTK and lower the amount of weapons = higher skill gap. everyone knows halo has the highest skill gap of any game. Even someone who sucks at shooters can come into BF and get a few lucky kills. That doesn't happen in halo. You get wrecked
