^^^^ Yup,
lolol :P
@Pedro@mowgly1
Mowgly1, you are now forbidden to speak of frame rates. This video was 100% fake. The guy deleted it and admitted to it. Of course he lied about the capture tool being messed up.
John from DF called him out on it as well. Anyone with a functioning pair of eyes could have told those frame drops were faker than Pam Anderson's titties.
LMAO, that's how far fanboys will go because an L stings too much.
He never said it was "fake"
After speaking with John from DF he realized there were issues with his FPS counter software.
Here is the new video with the software fixed (stable 60fps)

His frame rate was fake as hell and made up. He got called out for it and magically "fixed" it.

This is the likely explanation. Anyone should be able to tell the difference between 60fps and 45fps. Just looking at the video side by side should have thrown up a red flag about the frame chart.
@silentchief: Now that you know the pixel difference is double what you thought and now know the Xbox Series X is pushing a lot more pixels, can you go complain somewhere else?
Yea I'll complain about how the PS5 has manged to beat the XSX in about 80% of the comparisons thus far and its sad Xbots are clinging onto one game.
@silentchief: Unfortunately the PS5 hasn’t managed to do 4k. I mean, it couldn’t even run the game at the same settings while pushing 30% less pixels. Get used to taking L’s. 12>9

Yet AC:Valhalla, Dirt 5 and COD all looked better on PS5. You can hold those 3 L's.
@silentchief: Ac Valhalla the x a few scenes lower res, dirt 5 after patch the x holds a higher frame rate 120 mode. Cod the x better 60 fps rt ps5 better 120 fps. Very close. Hitman 3 30 percent more pixels with higher graphic settings with a few scenes dip, clear winner. Only game so far with a clear advantage
Why is my console losing to an rtx2060super from years ago? I was told by Tormentos that the ps5 is in the rtx3070super-rtx3080 range. Why is it losing against an rtx2060super? WHY??? They're using settings that are made for low end 4 core cpu's. What the f*ck 🤬THIS IS RDNA2.0, NOT LOW END 4CORE CPU F*CK. I've been lied to and i am very annoyed right now. My console is much weaker than expected and that's not okay with me.
I wonder what Sony thinks of all the youtube channels exposing their brand new $500 NEXT GENERATION system running settings on Low, below the lowest available on pc or completely turned off, and we're just 2 months in. I bet you they don't like this one bit, it ruins their ps5 image, and with how massive the social media is, when something is discovered, everyone knows about it and you don't even need to be in the know.
@silentchief: The problem isn’t Dirt 5 or AC. Those games have been patched since and Series X has either matched surpassed. Also, in those comparisons you mentioned, the performance gap was never this far apart lol.
I am sorry buddy, but Series X is way, way, WAY TO STRONG. PS5 doesn’t have the juice to compete.
@BlackShirt20: lol no they didn't :D
Even after the patches they were still worse then the PS5. You literally got one win which is a game that is nothing more then a shitty cross gen port. Hell look at the current gen vs next gen versions. The gap is smaller then it should be.
Not saying the XSX won't get some wins but it's already got some losses and the gap isn't near as big as it was with the X1X and PS4 pro.
@silentchief: A consistent 30% difference in resolution plus shadow quality is surprisingly close to the expected hardware difference between both machines. It is a significant win.
Hitman 3 proves to @tormentos that the Series X is indeed 40% stronger. Maybe even more, like 43% stronger. You cannot deny that and the SSD will not save the day. But hey! The game does load 0.4sec faster. The PS5 is saved😅
IO INTERACTIVE INTERVIEW BY XBOX WIRE
Link above is to a interview with Hitman 3 devs by XBOX Wire. This part of the article stood out
Q: Which enhancement were you most excited about to explore leveraging for Hitman 3 on Xbox Series X|S?
A: We see Hitman as a ‘live game’ and our launch date on January 20 is just the beginning of a journey, in which we’re going to keep working on the game and adding new features. It’s great that the GPU in the Series X|S has hardware support for Ray-Tracing. We’ve already started working on RT technology for the renderer in our Glacier engine, and once that’s deemed ready for prime time, we’ll definitely bring it to the Series X|S hardware.
So they will be developing RT tech in their engine and bringing it to the XBOX Series X/S (I imagine the PS5 too)
@BlackShirt20: No it's not. You keep running with that 9.2 to number and according to DF it will in fact spend most it's time at 10.3 so that's an 18% gap. The XSX has still managed to lose more head to heads and your taking one shitty cross gen game as the unequivocal proof.
@silentchief: And yet you cows clan victory for every shitty cross gen game the PS5 does better in! You really need to give it a rest mate
This is good to hear, but yet the PS5 is dominating the market. All I see here is rinse and repeat. Xbox has the better version, but PS kicks their arse in sales and is the 1st choice.
@silentchief: And yet you cows clan victory for every shitty cross gen game the PS5 does better in! You really need to give it a rest mate
I don't.. I think most cross gen games aren't showing what these systems can do.
@silentchief:
9,2/12=0,76
(3200x1800)/(3840x2160)=0.7
Hum...
I can name a dozen games that say otherwise. You literally have one game that shows that.

If said cross gen games have to run a bunch of graphical settings set to medium, low, lower than the lowest available on pc or completely turned off, what kind of showing do you expect from "true" next gen titles?
@silentchief: Please do. Show me a dozen multiplat games that have a clear advantage on the ps5.
I'll wait.

Reading comprehension isn't your thing.
He said the gap in Hitman shows a 30% advantage. My point is it is literally the only game to do so. Most games actually have a small advantage on the PS5 or are nearly identical.

Iol it's doubtful there even using hyperthreading. That's what happens when you have to throw a game on 8 different platforms.
Also compare the visuals to Hitman vs something like Demonsouls or Spider-Man MM or even the remaster.
Hitman on next gen consoles looks like a last gen game with better textures and higher resolution. Also the difference between some of medium and high settings was like 3 fps. Even DF thought they were overly cautious on the PS5. But I don't blame the developer 8 different platforms is ridiculous.
People have to stop believing in this "wait till true next gen games release" or "wait for the next gen upgrades". If the system is "struggling" with old games, what logical leap are you using to think that newer more demanding games will run better? That is like a new graphics card performing just OK with existing games and believing that the newer games will run better "just wait". 😐
What you see in next gen consoles with cross gen titles is exactly what you have and what you will get. There are just a few new hardware features that will give an extra boost to raw performance and quality, Variable Rate Shading, Mesh Shaders and Sampler Feedback. That is it. If you add ray-tracing subtract all of these potential boosts.
@Pedro: lol you clown. I didn’t see you praising PS5 when it shit on xsx in 90% of the other comparison. Fucking shill
If UE4 games use Meduim and Low graphical settings, what will happen with UE5? Same Medium Low settings but this time around in 30fps and if you want your 60fps, most will be on low 😭The future isn't looking very bright tbh
@hardwenzen: lol no UE4 games run medium/low on PS5.
Hitman 3 uses The Glacier engine.
I know Hitman is not UE4, but there's no way there are no medium/low ue4 settings on the ps5. I am not saying all settings are set to medium/low, just the majority, with textures being on high or ultra as always. Pretty sure looking at some of the latest games using ue4 and covered by DF, it wouldn't be too difficult to find.

The majority of settings on current muliplats are not using medium low on PS5.
Most use high settings with low RT.

That's not how it is in Hitman 3. What's always on high or ultra are the textures, just like on last gen xbonex/ps4pro

Yes, I'm saying this game is an exception not a rule. This literally happens every generation. Half ass cross gen multipats.
