I know Hitman is not UE4, but there's no way there are no medium/low ue4 settings on the ps5. Sure, but i really don't see why the graphical settings aren't maxed or very close to being maxed, especially in 1800p, a resolution the Pro used a bunch.

Because they needed to throw it on 8 platform by January and wanted it to run at 60fps ASAP is my guess.

I didn't even realize the game already released. There's been no one talking about it. Very low numbers on Twitch. Just a couple lems and their alts bragging about getting one game that runs at a higher resolution on XSX lol. So sad.

cows just cant catch a break,this and every game being better on serious x through VRR is causing sleepless nights.

The difference in resolution is more pixels than 1080p. 😂 Its like rendering the PS5 version and the Series S at the same time with room to spare.

again please read the word native. original. anything else is fake.

so bob shoots 4k video.

then edits it in 4k using software(most software still runs 2k editing).

then formats in 4k.

from start to finish bob shot,edited and formatted native 4k content.

rez is more then just a screen size.

but most users here dont seem to understand that.

seeing this whole thread about something that simple fake. plain and simple.

fun fact the skies in fh3 : the developers took a 12K camera to Australia to take photos of the beautiful Australian sky.

less than a minute of 12K video created a file that was nearly 4 gigabytes in size.

they shot both video and still for ref.

even ref still shots where massive.

they mailed back drives ever day do to sheer data size.

last again .

i will say this as many times as a can.

i see zero standard the game dev for 2k,4k when it relates to games.

they use buzz words for video standards but follow none of them.

come back to be when the game dev sector follows a dam standard that the rest of the industry used but them.

@firedrakes: You just demonstrated that you don't know what you are talking about in that drawn out example. That is not how it works. 4k is simply a resolution. Images for games are rendered not taken. When a game renders an image at 4k it is native 4k. That is all there is to it. There no "4k" assets needed for a native 4k image.

the mando is using the (most likely unreleased unreal engine) background are in 4k. that need a render farm with a workstation input.

seems most poster here dont work with 4k assets. but instead love pr buzz words .

cool hope you got 2 petabytes of storage for game like flight sim 2020. that how much you will need for the whole game world. un sure rez size for assets. seeing that how large said game is. for rez stuff for 4k you all been spewing.

@regnaston: The PS5 and Series X use the same quality assets. Only shadows and resolution is reduced in the PS5 version.

it is. the issue with trying to explain it. is the bastardize of the term 4k. from game devs.

look at what the 1 mod said. 4k is a rendering resolution....

seeing it been around far longer then gaming has.

i also ask the other posters . when complain about it.

what standard to game dev use for it... they wont answer. same goes with hdr.

but almost all the poster have never dev games or actual shoot 4k( real camera not barly fits the term cell cameras).

hell i even mention the flight sim game and not a dam word about that. seeing it came from the dev own mouths..

no not on gamepass.. if you are in no rush I imagine it might come there in a couple years, or it will go on sale for prices that might be more attractive
