Crysis 2 will OWN Halo Reach

Crysis the original got a 9.5 here with Gamespot saying "Truely one of the best FPS ever made" it also won best FPS 2007 all platform wide and this came out after CoD 4/Halo 3 despite all 3 releasing the same year.

With Crytek making the single player and free radical making the multiplayer this will completely toast Halo Reach.

No. It may have better graphics, but Reach will have superior gameplay, storytelling, online, and soundtrack.

You're making a big assumption saying, that because the original game, which had every opportunity to shine on the PC without having to be watered down for consoles, will have the same impact when this thing is released across 3 platforms. I'm not saying it won't be a great game, but giving reasons for this based on how it did exclusively on PC doesn't make sense to me.

Hmm I found the gameplay in the first Crysis to be much better than Halo 3s gameplay but I don't think Crysis 2 is gonna live up to the first Crysis since it's gonna be watered down for consoles. Reach will probably be the superior in everything else than graphics though.

Crysis 2's gameplay looks fun but mindless. I dobt its MP will be as good (or even in the same ball park) as Halo Reach. I think Halo Reach will be better, even with Reach's core gameplay being a little archaic.

Yes, but it won't matter if the MP doesn't hold up. Do you really want to screw around making gorgeous maps for boring/repetitive gameplay? I'm not judging the game as I haven't seen the leaked footage, just speculating.

In terms of physics and graphics it is on another level, in terms of gameplay, story, MP, etc.....no. I would say that hiring in a sci-fi writer and another dev team just to make the MP spells this out pretty well.

Crysis had to be compared to all those big FPS ever made since the platform began (CS, TF, BF, UT, and etc).

Crysis is overall the better game but 360s lack of high quality fps visually makes it look better by looking at the numbers when really that isn't the case.

Well Crysis was a better game than Halo3 could ever dream of being. But histrocally Halo franchise have a great record.
