 Waaaa?? They're 4th, drop to 6th from time to time, does NHL network talk about them? IDK i don't have that channel anymore, EPSN barely mentions hockey and when they do it's east coast, how are the Kings overrated? Everyone is talking about the Pens and before that it was the Blackhawks.Okay, Kings might be the most overrated team, but Kopitar is the most underrated player.

Oooooooh, that victory over the Habs was fvcking sweet. My apologies for not being around for a looong time, and I don't think John as posted in a while either. ): Anyway, look what I got a few days ago. The cheapskates wanted extra to put the patch on the shoulder (it was sold separately), so I opted out. gameeer1Ya, it's been a while. Leafs can clinch tomorrow, 9-1-4 in last 14. Reimer 5th in SV% now. Kessel and Phaneuf have been excellent. Things really looking up. It'd be cool to win the division but I doubt it.
And people will think I'm crazy, but Leafs deserve some trophy consideration. Reimer for Vezina, Kessel for Hart, possibly Phaneuf for Norris but a the last 2 are longshots. But it's being thrown around on radio and Twitter by non-Leaf reporters as well. If Bobvrosky and/or Lundqvist are getting consideration and don't make the playoffs...why can't Reimer? And he WILL make it.

It'd be cool to win the division but I doubt it.That's true, but I think Bobrovsky is a serious contender for both the Hart and Vezina. He is so integral to the Blue Jackets' push right now, if they didn't have him, they wouldn't even be in the race. I'm so excited for tonight! I really wish it didn't have to come down to Winnipeg losing in regulation, but if none of that happens tonight, we always have Thursday or Saturday! And people will think I'm crazy, but Leafs deserve some trophy consideration. First of all, yes I think your crazy :P Reimer a Vezina? maybe. Kessel a Hart? no way. And second I would love to see the Habs and the Leafs in the first round of the playoffs. It would be Montreal's ultimate test if they can overcome Toronto then they can focus on the cup.I would love to see the Habs and the Leafs in the first round of the playoffs. Personally, I would like them to meet in the conference finals. At least guarantee a Canadian team in the finals. I know them meeting in the playoffs is huge, it'd be best for hockey to have them at least get to the second round. If the Jets can pull through and get in, I would be more encouraged for a great white north finally winning a cup. 4/8 teams in the East, good odds. But that means they're having to defeat the Pens. I could see it happening.

I am also hoping the Nucks can score some goals! 20th in the league in shots? If they've got a switch, now's about the time to flick it.;). They're the only hope in the West again.
i thought if we beat boston, we clinch? The Pens are now 4 points away from clinching first place in the East.

[QUOTE="Nintendo_Ownes7"]As the Kings proved last year seeding can mean nothing.I know but it has been a while since the Pens seeded first; This is the first time since 2008 that they clinched their division. The Pens are now 4 points away from clinching first place in the East.

i almost feel guilt about cheering for the pens right now, especially since they don't really need it :|starwarsjunkyPens clinch the Eastern Conference!
FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE 2004... THE LEAFS ARE IN THE PLAYOFFS!!!!!! Even better to clinch against the Senators! (: (: (: (: (:gameeer1

I'm glad I was wrong. Caps won the SE division. :P

Say goodbye to that division next year :PNext year it is going to be difficult for a lot of teams in the East;Boston, Detroit, Montreal, Toronto, Otawa, Buffalo, Tampa Bay, and Florida in one division and Pittsburgh, Philidelphia, New Jersey, New York, Brooklyn (I think the Islanders are changing to the Brooklyn Islanders), Carolina, Columbus, and Washington in another division.
BOOOO Wings are in? I'll cheer for your Maple Leafs..................once the Kings are eliminated.....if of course. How often does a 1 seed win it all? I'd be worried if my team was a #1 honestlyX360PS3AMD05What do you have against the Wings? Mad that they're always in?
Can't say I have much faith in Boston. Blowing 2 goal leads going into the 3rd. Doesn't help that they've had a rough schedule though what team hasn't? No matter who we play we will have a tough match up as far as I am concerned. Swanogt19I hope Boston wins in regulation I would rather have the Pens verse the Sens instead of having the Pens verse the Islanders in the first round but the Bruins have to win in regulation.
Going to Game 1 of the Bruins vs. Leafs. Graduation gift to myself. Though a little early. Been four years since I've been to a game. Swanogt19My last game was the last game Crosby played before his concussion January 5, 2011. But it was an awesome game the Pens won 8-1 over the Lightning.
Damn Wings game is so late tonight.BlabadonYup. Good thing I'm out of school so I can stay up and watch it. I'm really looking forward to the move to the Eastern Conference next year.

I'm really looking forward to the move to the Eastern Conference next year. Apparently our conference is tough as hell. Shame the playoff streak might end under Z's helm so soon, but at least it wasn't his first season as captain. Honestly, today I'm just excited about Verlander being good-to-go against the Twins. The way Howard's been playing recently, I'm not worried about the Ducks too much unless the team collectively forgets how to score again. They did quietly put together a great season, but I watched some of their games and I'd be a little surprised if the Wings' experience didn't hold through for at least a six-game series. *Knocks on wood*
[QUOTE="sherman-tank1"]Yo Sherman. The seat right next to me is still available for Wednesday game. Come with me :P I would sell my car if I could go.Florida didn't even get the #1 pick.

Yeah, I feel for Quick. Just watching his reaction was brutal enough, but to blow it in that situation. Rough.ConscrumpturedYup and the Kings were just starting to get going too. They owned that overtime period. You could tell Williams' goal staggered the Blues a bit. I'm interested to see how this team plays from behind. We had big leads in every series last season.
