I dont think I need to ask if you guys fall under her definition of a "rape supporter," because the list was designed to encompass all men.

I dont think I need to explain whats wrong with it. im pretty sure there isnt a single person on this forum who will share her ridiculous point of view. I just thought it would be fun for us all to pick it apart and make fun of it.

The first few statements I can agree with, but some of the later ones relate so indirectly it's ridiculous.

I read the first five points and i thought he had some good points (that i didn't somewhat agree), then i read a few more points and the list went to crazy town in a brakeless volkswagen and never came back.

I wouldn't have sex with a woman even if she was begging for it, but according to that list I'm likely to rape her. So I'm not sure anymore.

Even more things on the list that are outrageous aswell... Not all our completely false, but almost everything on that list has nothing to do with support of rape.

Haha that was great! I seriously suspect that everyone here is a rape supporter going by that list. I didn't make it past point 1 without becoming one myself. There are some epic bits:

• He has ever revealed he conceives of sex as fundamentally transactional.
• He has gone to a strip club

Well so long as he doesn't revealsuch a heinous thought. And the strip club point is utterly ridiculous too.

• He watches pornography in which women are depicted.
• He watches any pornography in which sexual acts are depicted as a struggle for power or domination, regardless of whether women are present.

I resent these. So ALL female pornography is wrong whereas male pornography is only wrong if it's bondage or something?

• He ever subordinates the interests of women in a given population to the interests of the men in that population, or proceeds in discussions as if the interests of the women are the same as the interests of the men.
• He describes female anatomy in terms of penetration, or uses terms referencing the supposed "emptiness" of female anatomy when describing women.

These two I can't even seem to comprehend?

Feminists really need to get over themselves and stop blaming every thing in the world on men or saying that men must be trying to keep women down. This is why people have no respect for them because they make these kinds of statements that noone takes seriously because of how ridiculous they are.

That was one of the parts of that article that I just facepalmed at.

"He has blamed a woman for "putting herself in a situation" where she "could be" attacked.

He has gone to a strip club.

He discusses the "types" of women he finds sexually appealing..."

If these are the bases for which she labels me... I wear my label proudly...

Her second point made the article a load of bull. What's wrong with using consent as a defence? If she consented, there was no rape.

Essentially what she's saying is, if a woman wants to sleep with a man an cry rape, then she can have him locked up, even if sleeping together was her idea in the first place.

A lot of crap on that list... but I am definitely in favour of the first couple points concerning consent and saying a woman "asks" to be raped. 12 seasons of Law & Order SVU have shown me that rape is not a black and white issue, and far too little is done to bring justice for the victims and keep the perpetrators in prison (a statute of limitations on rape is disgusting). It has also changed my stance towards abortion, in that no woman should feel obligated to keep a product of rape, nor should she not consider the child's future and what would be in its best interests. It, like rape, is an exceptional grey area. And no means NO.foxhound_fox

If I walk in the middle of a busy street without looking both ways is it not my fault that I got hit by a car? If I know a gang lives on street x and they kill people who wear blue is it not in my best intrest to either avoid that street or not wear blue? Some things CAN be avoided... Thats not saying that every single woman raped are at fault... However a woman going out alone dressed in skimpy outfit getting smashed to the point where she blacks out in a bar full of men is an idiot... She does NOT deserve to get raped but situations like that are easily avoidable...

Rape disturbs me more than murder. The only thing that will ever turn me into "pro death penalty guy" is a rapist. Maybe its an inherent patriarchal gene kicking in or something but its too disgusting for me. But yeah feminists are annoying.
