I'm above average but not all that smart, although truley idiotic people think I'm smart.

I can imagine my mom getting on here though, she would probably go on writing paragraphs about how smarter she is than everybody just because some books she read said so. You know, that type.

I would consider myself quite smart, maybe not a genius or anything, but certainly smarter then most

My test scores would tell you I'm very smart, but I don't feel that way when among my peers sometimes. :)

Im a moron but everyone and eveything including my professors, and my grades reflect that I am smart. Its quite amusing in a sense.

Meh, I more about just learning the theories, rather than any useful application of them...
In other words, I would prefer to learn things just to learn them, not to do anything with it.

I think that I am a genious and many people have called me very smart. I am not sure though, I have had resounding success in many things in life however there are things as well where I didnt succeed as well as many other people have who are not einstein.

I was very shy with girls in my teens and thus wasnt able to make many female friends, I didnt take care of my looks and just didnt care about girls and social life. Other people who werent made many and now are reaping the rewards of a better social life, I mostly have guys as friends and I quite regret it. I have also made a few terrible decisions in my academic life, people will say that these things dont show a lack of intelligence but I think they do as in order to be a genious you have to succeed in every part of life that you are capable of.

in order to be successful in every part of life, you have to be successful in every part of life, period. Genius is completely unrelated to this.

Let me explain why:

If i am highly ignorant of every aspectin and ofsentientlife,sentient lifecould be constituted by whatever i subjectively deem trueor false, thus i am by all meansmerited to establish my own success criterion. A complete and utter buffoon could technically achieve genius status by the reasoning you propose.

You could certainly deem yourself a genius based on this logic, but know that you could just as well deem yourself a complete moron by the same logic.

Every single report card says "Mark could achieve great things if he stopped talking in class". So yeah, make of that what you will.D3nnyCrane

i think with your enthusiasm for learning, you can get your masters easily and teach at a community college or somtehing. it will be a great job :)
