Top New Games Out This Week On Switch, PS4, Xbox One, And PC - November 26
A good week for shooters and RPGs.
New Releases has almost finished its 2017 run, but this week still has a batch of shooters and RPGs for you to dig into. Both Resident Evil: Revelations titles are headed to Nintendo Switch, but you can shoot up some demons in Doom VFR too. For a more vehicular approach, you can also shoot down planes with Sky Force Reloaded. As for RPGs, Switch is also getting a much-anticipated sequel with Xenoblade Chronicles 2, while the PC crowd can explore the prison island of Seven: The Days Long Gone.

If you prefer shoot-em-ups, Sky Force Reloaded may be just your speed. The 10-year-old game is coming to modern platforms with all the big bosses and co-op action you could ask for, and every plane comes loaded with an arsenal of sweet weapons.

The elevator pitch for the Xenoblade Chronicles is fascinating: worlds on the backs of massive titans. This sequel has even more giant lands to explore, tons of party members to recruit, and lots of special abilities to use in battle. Not bad for an RPG you can play anywhere.

This week is home to another RPG, but this one is very different from Xenoblade, and not just because of its isometric point of view. Seven: The Days Long Gone puts you into the shoes of thief Teriel, whose climbing and sneaking skills are your only way to escape an island prison.

This one barely needs an explanation: it's Doom, but in virtual reality. As the last human survivor of a demon attack on the UAC, it's up to you to restore order to the place. "Restore order" of course means "shoot lots of things with lots of guns," in this case.
