If you can find and kill a Super Turkey, you'll be able to craft your own "Chieftain" hat using the creature's wishbones. Successful hunters can also summon--and ride--a "god-like DodoRex" beast for the duration of Ark's Thanksgiving update.

Ark's Thanksgiving event started today and runs through Tuesday, December 1. The update arrives on the same day that Steam's annual fall sale kicked off. Ark is marked down to $18 as part of the promotion.

Ark is available now on PC through Steam Early Access, where it's sold more than 2 million copies since its release earlier this year. An Xbox One version will be released through the console's Game Preview program very soon, while the full, complete version is slated to launch on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC in 2016.

Previous Ark updates have included big dinosaurs, small dinosaurs, and spooky stuff.
