They should have just left the kinect out of their next gen console. People didn't want it on the 360, chances are they're not going to want it on the One.
@Arijan83 @lostn Not everyone in the world speaks english which is why PS4 will release in more countries than Xbox One at launch. MS is delaying their release in many countries because the kinect can not properly work with every language.
@stanknuggetz12 He's not being selfish, he just doesn't see the point in spending extra money for something he doesn't want. I feel the same way. As far as developers, they shouldn't worry about who has kinect and who doesn't. They should focus on developing something that is so ground breaking, it makes the kinect a must have. So far, I haven't seen it.
I understand what he's saying as far as developing experiences on the kinect being done more if developers know every Xbox One owner has a kinect with their console. My problem is that they're forcing on us a piece of equipment that many of us never wanted and don't care about. I don't want any of my money going toward something I won't use. They should release a kinectless Xbox One for $100 to $150 cheaper.
As far as developing experiences, develop something that makes me want a kinect with the Xbox One don't just force the thing on me. The kinect is the reason I won't be buying a Xbox One. The Xbox One appeals to me more than PS4 because of Forza but I don't think neither goes anything that makes them a must have. The focus should be on the games, not something that does not enhance the gaming experience.
@Deathstroke_69 @analogjunkie24 PC vs consoles is not an ignorant comparison. They both are gaming platforms which plays most of the same games. Even their feature sets are very similar. How then is it an ignorant comparison?
@Bog101 You shouldn't have to pay to play the games you paid for online. Online is a feature the games have to begin with. Charging you to use a feature you've already paid for, is an outrage.
@lostastsea22485 @youngmike01 @LiquidSifu80 No, there was actual gameplay of the next Killzone. Microsoft however didn't bother with gameplay of anything even with the hype around the new COD reveal. They didn't show us anything worth looking at. It was like the reveal wasn't even for gamers but for a new demographic Microsoft is after.
@lostastsea22485 @mjswooosh I'm keeping an open mind also, I just don't like the fact that this upcoming video game console is so focused on things that has nothing to do with gaming. They are making people pay a fee to play their friends games, taking away one of the biggest things consoles had over PCs. With all this install this and download that, why should I leave the PC for one these? My mind is still open, we'll see if this thing or the PS4 is worth it after E3. After what they showed so far, they better wow us.
