I was considering buying a 720 just to play Forza. That game is the one game that would make me buy a Xbox since the Xbox doesn't have but three exclusives worth buying the system for. Since I can do without Halo and Gears of War, Forza is all I wanted to play. After this foolish move, they can keep it. I might buy a 360 just to have something to play my Forza collection on since my last one died. But I'd rather save my money and upgrade my PC in 2014 or 15 and enjoy the next gen on that than to waste my money on a 720.

@tmthywtsn All video game consoles follows PC designs. They are computers designed specifically to play video games. And with PC gaming, some games are always online, not the whole system. Microsoft seems to be making some very dumb decisions this go round and if Sony is smart, they won't make these mistakes.

I think all the talk about this misses the real root of the problem, the parents. From what I understand, the man took the guns from his mother's house. Meaning they were her's. Yet no one asked why she had those guns to begin with especially when her son had mental issues. Parents buy these games for children who are under the allowed age to buy the games themselves. How many times did you go to a game store and see parents buying their young children M rated games? And how many if any of them asked the clerk questions about the game?

Video games have ratings on them and even list the reasons the game received the ratings it did. Video game consoles all feature parental controls allowing parents to control what rating is acceptable for their children to view. These are controllable by the parents on both the video games that go into the console as well as the movies. What more do you want? If a parent thinks video game violence is a problem, then start being a parent and take control. Its all there for you and only takes a minute. With these parental controls, the games themselves can not be blamed because the parents refuse to take responsibility and monitor what their children play and watch especially when it is the parents who are mostly buying these games for their children. Please parents get on the job, it is not the government's job to raise your children, it is your own.

@ryogapower @youngmike01 To be honest no. I played the demo which did nothing for me. Hopefully the demo doesn't represent what the game is like. Hopefully the game has more to offer than just running around. I was left with no idea what the game is about or what the point of the game was. Due to that, I felt like it wouldn't be worth spending money on or even playing again.

I have to disagree with everyone saying the game of the year should be something on all platforms. I'm sure if Halo 4 won, most of these people would have no problems with that choice. With that said, I disagree with Journey for game of the year. The game of the year to me should be like this, if a person told you they want to buy just one game that came out anytime this year. It should be the one game they just have to own. Platform doesn't matter, genre doesn't matter, it should be the title that a gamer has to add to their collection if they can only have one. I don't see where Journey fits that. Game of the year should have it all, game play, story, multiplayer, innovation. Everything it do, it should do better or leave a bigger impression on the gamer than anything else that was release in the same year. If Journey did that for the editors, that's fine. I lean more toward the players' choice myself.

Truthfully, I'm sick of DLC. Companies are just taking gamers' money with things like car and map packs. I feel like the maker of Metal Gear Solid is the only one that has it right, the game should be complete when it releases. $60 is enough money to pay for a game without multiple DLC packs asking for more. Games now days are costing double with DLC pack prices added in. They seem to be holding cars out just so people have to pay extra for what should have been there already. This really needs to stop especially when games like Street Fighter X Tekken had all the DLC on the disc but forced players to buy them to unlock content that was already on the disc they paid for. I plan on buying this game like I did every Forza before this but they can keep all their car packs.
