~700k doesn't sound like much for someone I would assume is a multimillionaire... guess he just wanted out? Except he's staying at the company? Paying off a gambling debt?
@grnsuperman4 if she were a real journalist she would have tried to or get testimony about the positive side of games before she aired her propaganda piece
@vadicta the biggest problem is that none of them make it over to the west anymore... likely because they are scared of the western market or do not have the budget to localize their games. In the case of all the Sqaure Enix titles that are not making it over here, it has to be the first one.
you know, while I was ready to dismiss this game after the first few minutes of hyper scripted shooting gallery snoozery, the game then opened up into a large environment and... it felt like battlefield. The person who was playing was able to flank some dudes and then get into a vehicle. It seemed like a step in the right direction.
@zzamaro with all the crazy sales steam does, the last thing it is is a ripoff. If you're not sure you will like a game, do some research or wait for a sale. Also steam has really helped the PC games market take off again and appear relevant to publishers.... that said uplay and origin are a virus.
