Seriously, the best ads and/or videos are on the Playstation Network. Put them on TV for god's sake!

You know I rarely see video game ads on tv except for specialized slots like adult swim. I think most video game ads I see are really thanks to video game sites like this one. the psn ones are nice because theyre 1080
I use it mostly for internet right now just cause my PC fried a week ago. Im planning on turning my PS3 into a Linux box cause its a lot cheaper than a whole new PC. Play warhawk a lot right now. Most of the games Im looking forward to are cross platform anyway. When Sont releases Home PSN will get "trophies" in lieu of achievements. I dont care for achievements. Its annoying when Im at my friends house just wanting to play the game and have fun when he is running all over the place to get points. UT3, orange box, and rock band are biggest on my list, followed by Wipeout HD, and everyday shooter. Yeah the in game chat stll kindof sucks right now, hopefully give it some time. Home is supposed to flush out your last issues.
The iso is free apparently http://mirror.anl.gov/yellowdog/iso it is version 5 that you want. view the readme. Also check the main site out terrasoftsolutions.com my only worry is that the iso is worthless without the install disk.
although a downloadable 3.5G iso of the yellowdog PS3 linux port is downloadable through an ftp, it seems there is a pakaged version that includes two DVDs, an install disk and a source disk. Since the ftp is free I see no reason not to experiment with that first as long as I can get to a friends house with a DVD burner. Im curious if anyone had experience with the pakaged version. Its 50 bucks, still cheaper than a game, but what does it offer more than the iso already available?
wow this topic seems to pop up a lot lately in the Ps3 forums. Is it because major reviewers have been giving major PS3 games somewhat crappy reviews? In light of that I must say I am finding reviews of games to be less influential to me than they have been in the past. Still a review is an opinion, and most reviewers I think are entitled to it with their abled immersion to a wide variety of a number of games that most gamers can never hope to see without an extended gaming budget. This also means a loss of intimacy with any one particular title that the usual gamer will have when invested on occasional purchases.
