sorry man I don't think ps3 is ever goin to get somethin as good as MGO again, i do a lot of my online gaming on the 360 but one ps3 multiplayer game I was able to really get into and enjoy was twisted metal, you might enjoy that if its your type of thing.
Hey guys, I recently got a 3ds xl and have found myself scrambling to pick up a bunch of the ds titles i never got a chance to play since i never owned a ds. Looking at the 3ds games, however, i noticed there isn't much aside from remakes such as OoT 3d. I'll probably pick up paper mario and i'm a huge RE fan but revelations is coming to consoles so i might just wait for the 360 version to come out. I had a psp way back in the day and i REALLY enjoyed ff7 crisis core, it was probably one of my favourite handheld games, i'm wondering if theres any games similar to the quality/gameplay/plot of crisis core on the 3ds? If not, what other (original, non-remake) games would you recommend as must plays for the system?
Hey guys, I just got my xbox a little over a month ago. I noticed that when I put a disc in the tray and sit idle in the dashboard, after it finishes revving up I heard what sounds like a ticking or clicking noise, its pretty faint, and stops after a little while. When I start the game up it goes away, when I return to the dashboard and it sits idle it'll come back for a little while. Just wondering if this sound is normal or if I should send it in, I'd really rather not go 3 weeks without it if its no problem, so far my xbox runs perfectly besides that, I usually play all my games installed so after the initial revving of the disc its perfectly quiet, just wondering if anyone else has that sound with there slim.
i took a break from gears 3 and gave it a try and imo it sucks big time, the aiming is wonky everyone jst jumps around and you can die in stupid ways, like i was in a tower and i guy was climbing up a ladder to get me so i leaned over the side and put started shooting him with the AK. after like 6 hits he gets up to me and throws me out of the tower to insta death it might be fun jst for screwing around but if you want some good competitive multiplayer i'd recommend killzone 3 for hte ps3 and gears of war 3 (best competitve multi IMO) if you have a 360
I buy my games new so I don't have any problems with games only offering all modes if you buy it new. As far as stuff like the Gears discounted DLC offer... wtf it's discounted DLC. How is this an issue? If you're going to buy x dollars of DLC, why not get it at a discount? If you're not going to buy x dollars, then duh, don't buy the DLC pass. Gamers cry too much.
If I made games I'd be pissed if people were having a great time and loving my game but refused to even give me a penny for it (ie used games). My tactics would be even more extreme since who cares if I piss off used gamers? They weren't buying my games to begin with so it's not like I'm losing their sales.
The thing is this "DLC" should have been available and could have been available on the game at launch, but they purposely take it out so that they can auction off the rest of the game to you. Look at the 1st map pack, one of the 3 maps is blood drive (gears 2 map) . Your going to tell me they needed the extra 3 months to develop a map they already made? Some of you people really gotta wake up and see when your being taken advantage of, less for more is NEVER a good thing, yet there are people here who are defending it, which is ridiculous.
It seems like more are more every good game on the market has this crap tied to it, i'm so sick and tired of all this seasons pass, online pass, dlc exlusive (store, new purchases, etc.) etc etc **** its seriously SERIOUSLY getting to be a real big problem. Its getting to the point where I'm going to start going out of my way to not by these games at all, are from a 3rd party source so that the publishers don't get ANY money, listen up people, they wanna plaly this game, its up to us to stop this **** before it gets way outta hand (like it hasn't already). Come on, who's with me!
