[QUOTE="Mavrickkal"]Because it's platforming game that has dynamic user created content to provide unlimited replayability as long as you enjoy platformers. It also is poised to create a community of junior level designers. Well that and it has Sackboy the most badass mascot this side of the mississippi river......so yea..Gta3-fan334
Spore?

I don't think Spore is a Platformer game.

If Sony markets this game right (TV, Mag ads, making the Sackboy the mascot of the Playstation), I cant see how is game cant not be big. This whole gen has been nothing but shooter game this and shooter game that, so LBP is a nice change of pace.

Vectah_Sigma

QFT. Agreed. =)

I can't wait.

Although I haven't seen much that they have contributed, I believe that they will contribute a lot in the future, if they don't pull the plug on the Xbox too early.

Some people also don't realize that Sony moved forward into CDs with the original Playstation . With the PS2, we got DVDs. Now with the PS3, we have Blu-Ray. Without Sony, we probably would still have cartridges. They keep advancing on the formats, and made gaming socially acceptable.

Do you see any games these days that are still on cartridges?

Nintendo has done a lot as well. They brought back gaming after the crash. Mario had certainly saved the day. They always have something new, even if its a repetition of a game, with a new twist. Thats why I will ALWAYS respect Nintendo. Yeah, I'm a little dissappointed in the Wii, but hey, we can't have a perfect console all the time.

Well. Lets hope you're happy with your decision. Take my advice, whether or not you choose to follow it, I don't care.

I personally, would keep the PS3, and get the 360 in the future. It adds more variety. NEVER SELL A CONSOLE. YOU WILL REGRET IT.

Save up a few months or wait until Christmas to get the 360. Trust me, you will thank yourself. =)

I would really like to see an iTunes integration.

Or a service similar to the one you described would be cool. Id easily pay $100 a year to watch unlimited movies/ tv shows.

I somewhat care about the sales with each month.

Its because my neighbor and I bet on it. If the 360 gets more sales, I have to do something embarassing at school. If the PS3 gets more sales, he has to do something embarrasing at school.

Since I won July, he is going to school with Pink hair until it fades. =D.

I wouldn't sell any console.

I regret selling my 5th generation consoles to catch up with the 6th gen.

wow are cows that desperate they'll actually say a Boxing Game will be superior on the PS3 than the 360?SaintsRowSam

And lemmings are so pathetic that they have to go and cause spam threads other than their own?

Anyways, Boxing games aren't really my thing. If it looks alright, I'll consider renting it, if not, well...its one of those ones that I will have to check out later.

[QUOTE="verbtex"][QUOTE="BoloTheGreat"][QUOTE="SpruceCaboose"][QUOTE="BoloTheGreat"]

[QUOTE="SpruceCaboose"]PS3 is more than just a Blu-Ray drive.BoloTheGreat

that sounds so ironic... a pc with a blue-ray drive kinds renders the ps3 pointless in most respects (yes renders was an intentional pun)

Except for these pesky things called games, but what gamer cares about games?:roll:

do you want me to compare the ps3 and pc librany? dont make mw do it because the ps3 will get slaughtered. yes there are things called games and at the moment the PC has the best of them! so there!

Well duh, the PC has been out for longer.

That would be an unfair competition.

ok then, scince 360 launch then wich is the beggining of this gen, even then it gets totaly pwed on so many levels.

Still unfair.

The PS3 came out after the Xbox360.

If you start counting all the good games from November 17, 2006, then you have a fair competition.

Otherwise, your as bad as the lemming who say that the PS3 has no good games. Give them the same amount of time.
