This might actually be a great idea if they:

A) Include every game in the series so far,

and:

B) Make it a good bargain.

First one is fairly likely, second one... we'll see. In any case, I see myself picking it up this collection once it goes on sale. I don't own any of the games yet.

So, it's a hundred-dollar emulator that's never going to match the library size of any PC-based emulators. Great.

Honestly, I'm not seeing the point of this system. Everything that it claims it does, can be done by an android cell phone with an hdmi output.

@gamingfrendly A new Wolfenstein would be good in theory, but the last one was utter crap. A shame, since RTCW is one of my favorite games ever.

Is Id Software really that forgotten?

When Gamespot refers to Bioware, they just say "Bioware" in the title. When GS refers to Id, they say "the Doom studio".

Soft console market? They have pills for that.

Either that, or people don't see the point of buying 360's anymore now that rumors of the "next gen" are in full force.

@Aria1368 Well, no one knows that for sure, because no one's even played Halo 4 yet, never mind about Halo 5-6.

Unlike COD, the people who make Halo care about the game and the people playing it. 343 will continue listening to the fanbase to improve the game. People wanted armor lock gone, and now it's gone. If the loadouts make the game worse, then Halo 5 won't have them.
