Best moment i've had comedy wise i have to say was actually caused by me. I don't usually sing my praises, but damn it was funny.
We were in the lobby about to start a Slayer match on Isolation (Halo3) and this guy jumps on, and without even saying hello, waiting for anyone else to talk just starts goin on with a heap of BS. "I'm the best man, i'm gonna own you ya **** you F***ing suck all of you" etc etc for ages. Everyone starts trying to get back at him. I calmly get him attention with this:
"Dude, listen. I agree with you. You probably will own me, and I do suck. It's just a shame you're such a f***head".
Oh boy was there a lot of laughter from everyone else, and a lot of silence from him. His stats for the game were 2 kills 14 deaths. :)
Yeah i'd take your opinions and reverse them. Oblivion is the best game in my opinion, with Fallout only rating a very good game. Oblivion i played through around 4 times, and with all the side quests etc look hundreds of hours. I finished Fallout in 6 days, side quests included. The main quest whilst fun lacked a lot of originality and excitement. The side quests were at times boring and laboursome. Oblivion far better. I agree with you however that they are totally different and anyone who says they're similar isn't really looking past the surface.I've played oblivion and fallout 3. For the diehard Oblivion fans that keep saying "FALLOUT 3 IS OBLIVION WITH GUNS". It's NOT, ok. so get that idea out of your head. The only similarity between oblivion and fallout is that the same people produced it. I spent 10 hours beating oblivion with fast travel and have spent 75 hours on Fallout 3 and haven't even done all the quests or replayed it with different moral choices AND i fast travelled in both games. Oblivion has worse graphics, a dumb story, uninspired boring characters, character voices that sound like robots. The whole impression one gets from standing in the oblivion marketplace (besides a few of the main quests or story quests) is that your surrounded by a bunch of robot androids - a very lonely feeling. I actually would rate oblivion 6/10 and Fallout 3 is my favorite game. With oblivion being a 10 hour gameplay game fallout 3 offers more than 75 hours +
Also for roleplaying Fallout 3/oblivion is like Day after Tomorror to Shrek

[QUOTE="Motza22"]I just wish there were games that you and your friends could play with your avatars. Not even really games, but if you could just go into some purgatory esque place and walk around with friends, itd be fun. ReverseCycologyThere's three Arcade games available right now that are Avatar enabled. Remember they just came out so expect more games to include the Avatars. And yeah it'd be nice to have like a virtual lobby where you and the rest of your party can just mingle around.
Yeah played Uno last night using avatar. Not anything to write home about. The animations are fairly simple and very repetitive. Here's my avatar:
[QUOTE="Caprellid"]not to mention with no disc needed to spin...vertical position of xbox 360 can no longer scratch discs!Dabbagins
That's odd, cause I've had my 360 vertical for a year now and it's never scratched a disc. Maybe the older consoles will do that, not sure.
Anyways guys I am sorry but this is the first time I'm clicking on this thread and don't feel like reading 800+ posts so instead of making a topic here is what I would like confirmed.
1) Ok so every time I want to install a new game this is what I do correct? I insert the game in the disc tray, wait for it to take off into space and once the game starts I click on the guide button, press A on xbox 360 dashboard(which will take me back to the dashboard with the disc in tray), go to my xbox, click y which will give me the option to install onto harddrive and that's it right?
2) Also now that I have a certain game installed, every time I put that game disc in the tray to play it, it will automatically play it via hdd correct? or do I have to do something extra to play it off of the hdd all the time. Thanks guys if you can confirm these 2 questions.
Yeah mate, that's it re: 1). As for 2) i think you're right there too. I've installed all my games, and i'm fairly certain it auto detects if it's been installed. In regards to installing games, and knowing you didn't read the last few pages, Bungie has released a statment advising that you don't install Halo 3 (if you play it at all). It actually INCREASES load times. Check their website for more details.
