I really enjoyed the campaign, i had 2 crashes which i think wasnt to bad.

The story line is ok'ish, the game play was great fun i though, the best bit being the jet lvl! Compared to the MoH campaign it isnt anything special. I think its just marmite really :D

[QUOTE="Swiftstrike5"] The lens flare, dust particles on eyelids, extreme lighting etc.... it's just overwhelming.gedz

This is also my biggest gripe in the game. The dust particles on the eyelids were particularly irritating for me.

Not really gfx related, but the chat window thing is kinda hard to read for me. It's like I have to look at a particular surface to make it clear.

Its not dust on the eyelids, if you notice everyone is wearing protective eye wear in both single (apart from the Russians) and multiplayer. Its actually what happens in real life when you get dust/ crap on yourglasses, you get glare and it makes it difficult to see in direct sunlight. :D

Nearly allof the time i havent had any issues in the MP, i tend to stick to UK servers (as im based there) and most are under a ping of 50 so lag and stuttering has been clear. SP i had a few crashes but nothing game breaking and the jet lvl was AMAZING fun, reminded me so much of TopGun/ Hotshotslol

My Pc at home, i5 750, 4GB RAM, ATI 6870 runs it beatuifully with most setting on high and a few on ultra.

My PC at work, i3 540, 6GB Cheap RAM, GTX 260 runs it fine on medium/ high. I did have to reinstall the nVidia Beta drivers and removed the latest ones as i was getting a few tares on the scren.

My brother on the the other hand with his i7 had been pulling his hair out untill i knocked off the Hyperthreading and since then no issues at all.

I think the issue is there are so many variations when it comes to PC's rather than PS3/ xbox that Dice cannot factor this in and there are bound to be teething problems and a lot of issues causedbetween the keyboard and the chair. Give it a few weeks an the patches will come out and then it will be like BC2 where it all settles down and people play nicely again :D

Fraps seems to offer the best all round solution, couple of things to be aware of with it though is make sure the destination path for the recordings is on a physically seperate HDD as this will improve performance.

I used to record HD content (MW2) for commentatiers on a Dualcore 4GB RAM GTX260 and it was fine, it all comes down to if you have a well configured PC and the additional drive to record to then FRAPS isnt the hog people make out IMO.

Also if you are looking for a cheap video editing package then the Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD is a good buy at around £40 and also allows voice overs to be recorded directly in to the program.

Ive always gone for hard copy because I only have 2meg pornband and it would take hours to download, then a few more hours for the first patch on the release date.

Id rather have the disc installed then only wait a few hours for the release patch lol, Amazon only charge £2 for release day delivery so worth it IMO

Microsoft Security Essentials seems to be the best free (and better than some paid) AV software out there!

On the whole you no longer require a seperate Firewall software as most routers come with it built in and the ones in the Netgears and BT HomeHub (latest generation) are very good.

Got to be the jokes in the jets! Metro subway was just great fun fighting for that middle corridor on the second set of MCOMS.

Really really looking forward to the full release!

Infantry combat is great fun in BF3 but the jets are just jokes, i have never laughed so much flying those things around the map and nearly scraping the floor and watching the comments pop up in the chat!

I will prob be playing quite a few infantry only modes as i always wait a few months before puchasing the next installment of COD.

Download the Beta and play the metro map and make up your own decision is the best answers as everyone has an opinion.

I run at work an i3 with 6GB crappy RAM and a GTX260 stock. Its running on medium settings at present and Metro map is stable at 40-45fps but Caspian lacks definition which is ok if your having a sit back game but when in the thick of it its not pleasant.

Personally with the cost of GFX cards like the 460 being so cheap i would sell off the GTX260, still get £50 and purchase a newer one
