Lets see... where to start about the playstation 3 customer support... oh yea. DID YOU KNOW they have ADs in their customer support channel? WHAT IS THAT? Before they even let you select what type of help you want, they tell you that you need to listen to an "important message". Then they play some S*** about Gran TURISMO 5 PROLOUGE! WHAT TYPE OF SUPPORT IS THAT IMPORTANT (althought it was a great game...). Then after selecting my options and waiting like 30 minutes, some lazy sounding guy comes up and answers the phone.Felix_120192

Press 0 number on phone and youll be directed to go speak to sony rep. and skip all the BS.

[QUOTE="Wave360"]Its sad but i have been taying away from a friend who has the socom beta and thinks its fun beacause i hate it soooo much... I wanted this game alot at first but now i might just buy the mic seperate. Its way to slow and boringIgetyourdogtag
why would you buy the mic seperately... thats a huge mistake. You wouldnt want to throw in a 40$ game for only 10$?

seriously..., the mic's stand alone price is $50, and the game + the mic bundled is $60. You'd have to be pretty stupid to buy the mic alone, and not spend the extra $10 for the game, even if you only enjoy the slightest bit.

so, long story short; i got the yellow light today. i'm waiting for mom to get home so i can find the receipt. i have a couple of questions that i would be so grateful if they were to be answered. 1. if you sent in your playstion3 before how long did it take to get back? 2. did they send you a new one or a refurb? 3. if they sent you a refurb did it work like new? were the fans loud? 4. if you also had an xbox and had to send it in for repair, how's the ps3 customer service compared to xbox? thanks so much please help me outpatrick5152003

I also have to send my PS3 in as well, I am curious about the same questions you've asked.

That sucks man. Hopefully you'll get your new PS3 by the time MGS4 comes out.hillelslovak

yeah I know. I'm getting all pumped for MGS4, then this happens. It pisses me off how I can't save my rock band save data either (EA has this copy-right protection).

Well, today my PS3 broke, it stopped reading discs. I can't load up a game, cd, dvd, blu ray,... tried em' all, won't work. I called sony, and since I got a launch PS3, my 1 year standard warranty is expired. So now, I got to throw down $150 for them to send me a replacement. Its a bummer, I take very good care of my PS3. I guess things like this just happen sometimes.

Hey, I'm currently finishing metal gear solid 1 & 2. I'll be done before June 12th, but I was wondering if playing MGS3 is neccessary to understand certain stuff in MGS4. I know MGS3 is like a presequel to the first one, but I'm worried I'll be missing out on certain story elements when playing MGS4. Help is appreciated, thanks.

I having the same problem, my PS online used to be connected, then I screwed up the setting on accident, and now I can't seem to fix it. My neighbor is supposed to come and help me try to fix it, but he keeps forgetting and stalling. It's been 2 weeks since I played online
