After reading what I could find so far and watching some of the videos I've cancelled my pre-order... just kind of concerned that this game will actually live up to everyone's expectations and I'm not going to do a semi-blind buy. Waiting until some comprehensive reviews and more sample gameplay is available before I jump on this ship...
Hopefully E3 will give me some games to look forward to besides The Division and Far Cry 4..
I personally think it's a combination of "zombies" and an apocalyptic environment. There's something eerily soothing and empowering about being in a post apocalyptic wasteland. Would definitely like to see the psychology behind that.
Very cool episode. I also think that when it comes to games that the emotional experiences we have while playing those games can create an emotional attachment to a certain extent.

I know they've had financial issues lately but this sucks. THQ's definitely on my short list of great game developers. 3 of the 5 games I'm looking forward to the most for 2013 are THQ games.. COH 2, Metro Last Light and South Park SoT. Hopefully this ends well.
No thanks... no interest in playing WOW any more (quit a longg time ago).. or a panda for that matter... WOW is dead and its technology is ancient... what's the purpose of this trailer anyways? The game never looked or felt anything like this... what a joke...
Just can't get into it. My experience has been buy game, play for a a couple hours, get hacked, fix account, play for a couple hours, play something else... Maybe it's not the game for me...The whole must be logged into BNet thing is a real turn off too...
The ordinary everyman in extraordinary circumstances is the best recipe for a game that will completely engage the player. I'm sorry but using the super mega nuclear strike punch to kill god number 17 in your game is about as stimulating (emotionally, intellectually, challenging, etc..) as watching paint dry. I want to relate to the protagonist... not worship them.
