@Barighm: or.. as I've already mentioned.. there IS still a pandemic going on and developers ARE still working from home. It's not the same. Not everything is a conspiracy. Relax. Co-op will release 3 months after. It's better they release the game now.. or else you probably would be complaining about that as well. Sort of thing? The MC Collection is all 4K/120 now. They've done a great job with it!
@santinegrete: it's set to release 3 months later in season 2. which isn't bad. in the meantime you can play through on an easier difficulty.. then play co-op on the harder difficulty when campaign co-op releases. it's not a big deal.
@skyhighgam3r: they said it would release in season 2. everyone is still working from home.. or alternate locations.. the pandemic IS still going on and it does affect development.. I'm sorry but it IS still a thing.. so further delays should be expected. I would rather have 343 focus on releasing an awesome campaign and multiplayer with everything intact then release everything and have a little here and a little there misisng. If it's only 3 months.. then campaign co-op is already nearly done and they need to finish it up. think about it.
it's funny .. I literally have done everything... at this point..that's possible in Skyrim.. aside from the creation club content.. yet I find I still want this. If there's new achievements then I'm in. Crazy yes.. but I do love Skyrim. Also.. this is totally just to keep us busy until the next Elder Scrolls.. which from what I last read.. is still a ways out.
@Thuban_23: they mentioned here that campaign co-op will release in season 2.. if memory serves correctly.. a season is 3 months. so again. it's not a big deal. everyone settle down. If the campaign is solid and MP is solid.. that's enough for launch. Just play through the campaign again at a harder difficulty.. that's always one of the achievements.
this isn't a big deal. If I remember right.. Halo 3 also didn't have Forge at launch and came later. It along with campaign co-op will come. no big deal. How many people actually play the campaign.. the campaign.. with someone else?? I never do ...
looking forward to the TV show after all these years and I hope it succeeds. I really want to see a halo movie though.. I think this could be right up there with star wars if done correctly. between master chief.. covanant, and flood.. and the books.. there's more then enough content here for several movies. Please Steven Spielberg or JJ Abrams.. please direct these movies and make them as awesome as they should be!
The game is great. The level design, environments, music and gunplay are all amazing. The game plays out as it was designed to do. If you don't like the story, just don't pay attention. The neat thing is that you really don't have to like the story at all. It's linear for sure, but that's not always bad. I welcome the challenge, as I love being in this world. I'm having a blast on my own, but will soon be playing co-op with a friend which will make it even more fun. This is a first effort for what I really hope will be a new franchise. There's time to iron everything out.. until then it's an extremely entertaining package and definitely worth playing. I would put it at a solid 8. I've seen bugs here and there but nothing that has detracted from the game. Great job, Neon Giant! and a great exclusive for xbox.
