@davidsworld3: I'm guessing you missed the bit where it says he's married with kids. Plus if he believes in the project, why not invest? He's not hurting his family or anybody else for that matter. Obviously I'd like the kind of disposable income he has, but I don't see the necessity for throwing insults at him.
@Omega-316 Who are you to say that anyone has no right to play a game? Also, there is no such thing as a perfect game. To say that something is perfect is to suggest that the entire population of the world would love GTAV, and that will never happen.
As for naming any game that is better, well I could name several, but that would be my own opinion. Everybody has an opinion. Reviews are an opinion. As a reviewer myself, I should know. Not everyone is going to have the same opinion as you. You'll have to learn to deal with that, and pretty quickly too, since it's part of life.
@frylock1987 Not really. The two franchises each have their own fan base, so they'll both sell. Plus, even if that wasn't the case, SR4 is on PC while GTAV isn't, so that would continue to sell anyway.
@Robstar360 I've played and completed both games and that video spoils nothing as far as the story is concerned. Also, while I can sympathise that you don't want any plot points given away on games which you will potentially play, please understand that these games were released 10+ years ago.
I was looking at a new project on Kickstarter called Civitas. It's DRM free and will be including a true single-player experience without this ridiculous 'shared' economy. I'm looking forward to it, as for me, the SimCity franchise is dead. Here's the link if anyone's interested http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1584821767/civitas-plan-develop-and-manage-the-city-of-your-d
They already had the best formula in place with SimCity 4. Change to improve, not just for the sake of change. Very disappointing. And as for the partially community driven game economy, where's the support for the single-player only fans?
