Sorry Mr. "American" McGee, but since you left your country behind and thought that you would have great success in China, then you fail and need to ask for kickstarter projects for pretty much all your work now, I fail to see why we need to support you and the Chinese game industry after you ditched us and felt all elite to venture abroad.
It's a scam. Just wait for it to deliver nothing, or crap. You really think they want through extensive periods for QA for this box? You really think they can do a better job as MNCs and their consoles still get red rings etc. People will want their $8.5m back.
Ladiesman has no clue, hardware is still working and you can fix it for years to come. Just because you can mod your PC games to work (which by the way, isn't always guarranteed), doesn't mean I can't still load up my FF12 game with the press of a button! The same goes for my PS1 by the way, which is even older.

It's just an official ban, the console was always available in shops with imports from Japan, Korea and Hong Kong. The biggest issue is that you have to connect to PSN and XBL from a Chinese landline, which sucks horribly. If they have a local server then that helps gamers a lot. Nobody plays online with Nintendo anyway...
Funny how investors would think it's a big difference to them. sure the companies can then official advertise the console and it will sell more, but most people already have an Xbox/PS3/Wii at home if they want it.
Funnier is how there is no ban on PC games, and looking at how people live in internet bars to play MMORPGs it's not exactly healthier.
@MachShot Wrong, his career is short-lived and his CV saying he played professional video games means nothing in the real world. The real money isn't in those kind of paychecks, that's just kiddie mentally.
THQ is down, the entire industry is failing anyway. There will only be annual releases by EA Sports, COD, AC, until people finally stop buying their annual update for $60.
@Kr3isen Because they are owed money, if they sell it quick and cheap then the creditors (who are OWED money) will get less. If there are better buyers then they'll get more money back, and they are losing out on money one way or another so they'd prefer only to lose a little...
THQ is bankrupt, let them go down already. Their IPs will be picked up by other companies, new publishers will rise. The entire game industry is due for a phoenix rising out from the ashes anyway. Companies don't make money, games are all the same, gamers are bored...
