@smokeless_0225 @noigel yeah I understand, but why don't you try to see it from another point of view:
I am a user that like this game so much I would spend 1000$ real money on it (because I have a lot of money aaaaand reasons). Btw these kind of users are called "whales".
So, from R* point of view, why should this "whale" only spend 60$ in the game? R* is loosing 940$. That's why they create a system where you could get whatever you want either with effort or cut your way through with real cash.
If whatever you want wasn't a bit difficult to get without paying, nobody would spend money to get it right? and also the game would get boring after a short while because you wouldn't have objectives (the ones you yourself create, like I want the tank wich costs 1.5 million in-game currency) and the mass (wich is the one that -without spending money- might attract more "whales"), would go play something else.
I understand you don't like microtransactions, but they are here for good, and I preffer supporting the non-abusive ones (like these ones) than the ones that force you to pay to advance in the game (see EA).
Just for the record I didn't spend a dime in GTAO.
@Freedomination @noigel (sorry couldn't edit) ...But Caroline complains about free roam because she gets killed, and doesn't even mention the solo or only friends/crew sessions created for people that wants to avoid public sessions... it's like complaining about getting killed in a CoD Deathmatch...
So you give a 6 to a game designed for players to kill each other, because players are killing each other? You sure you really know how to do this job?
