"In an interview conducted by Nintendo Dream with Eiji Aonuma in December 2006, it was revealed that there are two parallel universes in the Zelda chronology. The timeline is split at the end of Ocarina of Time, when Link is sent back in time by Princess Zelda to live through his childhood, while the original events of Ocarina of Time continue on a different path. Once returned to his original time, Link goes to see Zelda again, and the result of this meeting is an alternate future in which the villain Ganondorf is arrested and tried by the ancient sages, who attempt to execute him, but are instead forced to banish him to the Twilight Realm. Twilight Princess then occurs over one hundred years later, after Link's role as a child in the events of Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. Meanwhile, The Wind Waker occurs in the "adult Link" timeline, hundreds of years after the Hero of Time saved Hyrule in Ocarina of Time, and it is directly followed by Phantom Hourglass." - Wikipedia.
As you can see the gametrailers theory is wrong. Twilight Princess takes place after Majora's Mask on the "young Link" timeline. While Phantom Hourglass takes place directly after Wind Waker on the "adult Link" timeline.

The reason why they were wrong about TP was because they still hadn't finished the game at the time and didn't know that Ganondorf was the main villain.
[QUOTE="nintendoman562"][QUOTE="Rocky32189"]I watched most of it. Hopefully it has an effect.-Oath
I didn't watch the Mother 3 portion because i didn't want the game to be spoiled for me :D.
You havent played it yet? Couldve fooled me.
Great game though.
I'm waiting for the translation patch. I don't know a word of japanese. I would use the menu patch but i don't want to use a guide and playing without the story wouldn't be the same :(.
We all had a great time, thanks everyone who called NOA or emailed them. We want to give a big shout out to STARMEN.NET the godfathers of the ebsiege. Without them this marathon would never of happened. We hope we were able to help in the effort of bringing the Earthbound/Mother series to the United States. We've gotten word from a couple of people that NOA received somewhere around 2,000 phone calls asking about Earthbound/Mother this weekend.GREAT job guys, thanks for being kind and respectful to the Nintendo representatives. Hopefully we will find out soon if we've made any impact. As soon as we know we will relay the message. If you won a prize we've emailed you, please respond with your shipping address and also your shirt size if you were a grand prize winner. In the next couple of days we will post our Halloween marathon info.
2000 calls over the weekend is amazing. That averages at around 666 calls per day! It only took 500 calls to get Master Quest here! If this doesn't get the Earthbound series here, nothing will.
