To add, I could understand if it was a sanctioned auction, or something for charity. But an ebay auction? Anyone can manipulate that.

Hard to believe someone would buy a collection for that much. I know in the past people have posted their stuff on ebay just to bid on it themselves just to "show off" what they have. I have a hard time selling my own stuff for the amount I want.

Even MS themselves said the new Xbox won't be out for another year or two. Is this guy just now catching on?

@Tseng In case you didn't know, this guy brought us Wolfenstein, Doom, and Quake, to name a few. He's one of the few in the industry where when he speaks, people listen.

These guys are being way too bold and putting too much emphasis on cloud/streaming gaming. Does he know how the internet infrastructure works? Does he realize companies impose data caps and this kind of process can chew up data very quickly? For someone who thinks outside the box, Jaffe's keeping it in the box here.

Despite Capcom's recent shady business practices, Street Fighter has been a big part of my gaming life for the past 25 years. Definitely buying this.

For me it was summer of 1991. Was at Kroger with my grandparents and they gave me a quarter to play. Of course, I picked the American guy who I later found out to be Guile. Got whooped by Chun Li, but knew I would love this game from that point on.
