@aus_pride I know you're a troll, but you need to go read up on what a Dev is as opposed to a publisher. Also, Sony looked pretty good with games to me.

Is this even news? Did anyone in their right mind even consider that it wouldn't be? Region locking, though it sucks, is here to stay until China stops bootlegging/pirating.

My thoughts while reading this: New zombie IP with a Day-Night cycle: I want it. Not for Wii U: I want it, but can't afford it, and hate myself for thinking somehow the Wii U would get games. From the developers of Dead Island: Meh. I guess I can do without. And Call of Juarez: HAHAHAHA, whew, dodged a bullet there.

@Longini yes, but my argument was against the idea that they can't innovate with those IP, like your original argument was. I would like to see more risks and new IP, but I don't see why we can't have another departure from the norm like Wind Waker was, It did well, was critically loved, and yet Nintendo seems afraid. They've grown stale.

@Longini I 100% don't believe Nintendo cares, they're looking at sales and critical acclaim, if they paid attention to those complaining online, they'd be a very different company right now, because people have been making the "Nintendo has stagnated" argument for the last 5 years.

@Longini Yeah... Wind Waker was totally not well recieved... which is why it got two sequels and sold more copies than all but the first Zelda and OoT. Not mention Majoras Mask did almost the same as Skyward Sword, on a dying console, and is many Zelda fans favorite game. Mario Sunshine, I don't know, but you're just making it up with the Zelda games.

Well, I hate to say it, but I'm out. this game makes use of every feature is all I had to hear. I was hoping for an option to use the regular controller, or at least keep the tablet's function down to menu navigation. Use the mechanics that best suit the game, not all of them just to convince everyone else they weren't a waste of time. I've played every Zelda game (barring the infamous CD-I games), but this is the end of the line for me. I found SS iffy at best, and this is where I'm drawing the line. I'm done with Zelda (a little part of me just died inside).

@HeroOfTime1994 Best thing HDTVs do is color. They would have been idiots to have gone with the more muted TP over the bright SS look.

Wii U hasn't won me over yet, but to be honest, it's kind of dumb when people say "If they spent the money on the console instead of the controller...", because, then what? They would have built a machine that's exactly the same as the competition. Which would have been a loss because unlike Microsoft and Sony, Nintendo is only in games. They can't rely on other successes to keep them afloat. If they don't have anything to bring in the people who wont buy Sony and Microsoft, they have nothing. It would have been absolutely stupid to have given up their gimmick to make something the other two could do better. Also, Wii U hasn't won me over for the exact reason this article had to be written. I hated waggle controls, but everything had it. If devs don't start actually thinking about the hardware instead of shoehorning in unintuitive features, I'm not buying it. I don't want every game to have some motion control BS, nor every one to use the tablet in some crazy way. I'm fine if plenty of games just use it for the TV button so I can play modern console quality games on a tablet, or just use it for inventory for hud-less screen immersion.
