Sweet, yeah i need a good blu ray player. Yeah I dunno, i'm always seeing the 360 at my local futureshop and bestbuy being bundled with a couple of games, not in the box, like it's up to the stores. Either way this weekend i'll pick one up, i don't wanna pay another hundred bucks for a 80 gig PS3, memory is cheap, when will they learn that.

It's time for me to get back to my SONY console roots, that's right i'm finally getting a PS3. Why? Cause I just bought a 47 inch LCD that supports 1080p that's why. Anyway I wanna get it soon, looking at local flyers this week hoping they bundle in some games or movies with it. But to tell you the truth i'm getting it more for it's blue ray capablities then anything else, can some of you tell me how it stacks up to other blu rays? i think the game I will be most looking forward to on it is Killzone and God of War 3.

I just got a new 42 inch samsung plasma TV which supports 720p and upscales to 1080i, I have been doing some reading on HDMI vs composite and have found conflicting views on both. Some say there is no difference, others say there is a difference between night and day and so on. Now I have heard that HDMI helps you get the most out of your TV espically when in 1080p, but I have heard that with 720p it really doesn't make a big deal. So whats the deal, do I need HDMI with my TV set up or what?

Also on a side note, I have a older 360 without HDMI, should I consider buying one with HDMI for my set up, or is it just a waste of money at this point?

I'm a true blue Hitman fan and have been with the series since it's first PC game, Hitman: Codname 47. Great game that keeps getting better, the movie as much as I wanted to like it, doesn't draw from the source material enough and in short wasn't even that good as an action movie (They didn't really even give hints to him being a clone!) which is a big part of the game in some ways.

In short i'm working on my own Hitman screenplay, hopefully they don't make another so it can fall from peoples minds and mine can get picked up, a script written by a true fan, wow that should be the standard. lol:D

Well it's good to hear positive feedback on the subject so far, and also on a side note I think that gun that was introduced for the new Time Crisis on the PS3 wasn't so hot. I think it had like a d-pad to move on it or something, and they were trying to incorporate open world mechanics in the game that didn't work well. I fear that game manufactures think they have to appeal to new game mechanics to make money, instead of in-bracing the old true and tried angle of Light Gun games.

And I can't say it enough the Light Gun is gotta have some weight and recoil to it!! lol :D

I also think a lot of gamers would love to see games like House of the Dead and Virtua Cop (to name a few) redone with better graphics and better mechanics, not to mention new franchises being created. I just think because the game play is on rails, it provides game developers all the opportunity to make the game look absolutely amazing and provides for memorable set pieces (in the hands of a great developer).

Now after seeing the House of The Dead 2 and 3 on the wii, it brought back alot of old memories in the Arcades playing light gun games and how fun they were. I also watched the GDC demo of these games on the Wii with Mechberg and kept hearing the guy saying that if the demand was there, they would release more.

Well here's my question to the community, how many if you would support a new official light gun for the 360 and PS3? Now i'm talking about one that looks rad, has some weight and even has gun recoil on it (Something like the Time Crisis games in the arcade) I think if they put time into it they could make a great gun, and I would love to see all the House Of the Deads and Virtua Cop games re-released for the 360 and PS3 with updated graphics and such.

So some people think the rail shooters had there day in the sun and we should put them to bed, and others would like to see a soild return of them, what do all of you think??

OK, it all started when I noticed my 360 was scratching the hell out of my games, so i called up MS, played the phone game and they sent me a box two days later. Ok I get a system back 5 days later (Refurbed one, I live in Canada) plug it in and in the first 5 minuets reliaze it's making a weird sound. I ignore it hopng for the best, three RockBand song's later it stops playing the game all together, won't play any of my games, (And yes X-BOX lady on the phone I did try the damn thing with and without the harddrive).

OK so now I call them, play the damn phone game again "Oh WOW I get to pick a budget title because you guy's screwed up? OK SWEET" not really but whatever, 4 games to pick from all I remember is I picked PGR3. And Oh WOW another one month 360 gold membership! YIPPY. Ok enough with the sacrcasm, but the lady did tell me they would be sending a NEW 360 not a refurbed one, which is what they should of done in the first place.

OK, so they send me another box 2 days later I do what I gotta do and send it back. 4 days later (I had sent it right before the Easter break) I get the box back, in the morning. The dude woke me up, I signed the thing in my boxers went back to sleep. Later on I notice, IT'S THE SAME BOX I HAD SENT OUT! Turns out the postage stamp they gave me was adressed to MYSELF not to them. I just got off the phone with another MS lady saying how disappointed I was with there repair service, now she has to send me another box so I can do this whole dance over again. PLEASE GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER MS!!!!!

I have a question as someone embarking onto the next gen plane, my first choic being a 360. I live in Canada first of all, and i was wondering if I buy a 360 from Futureshop and get that two year extended warranty that i've been reading about on the last 310 posts, when my 360 breaks does Futureshop give me a new one, or do i still have to mail it to microsoft and get a refurbished one?
