[QUOTE="narlymech"] Yeah maybe succeeding isn't the BEST idea, but in loo of a third or fourth party emerging stronger, talk of it is motiviational. The 2 parties have needed a shakeup for decades. I know everyone is still excited celebrating the first black president, but I've always been ahead of the times.

narlymech

Yeah, because a third party is such a new and revolutionary idea right?

Well, when youv'e had 2 parties, drrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrugggggghhhhhhh going nowhere, for what 50 years now, it's not revolutionary, it's way too late.

I don't think you really got what I was trying to convey.

People have been hyping/calling for third parties and third party candidates for centuries. In fact, Ross Perot, a third party candidate, could have won the 1992 election. Other notable third party candidates and parties include the Socialists, Theodore Roosevelt, Strom Thurmond and the States Rights Democrats, the Know-Nothings, etc. I just thought your whole, "but I've always been ahead of the times" comment was pretty funny. You're about two centuries late bud.

[QUOTE="rawsavon"][QUOTE="narlymech"] In context leaving the Union isn't so assinine. The 2 parties have needed a huge shakeup for decades now.

narlymech

Holy crap...you are going to actually talk issues...the lessons paid off little Johnny Positives: 1. No more debt (Texas runs a balanced budget) Negatives: 1. no $...as in no monetary backing 2. no military protection 3. no federal funding for things like roads or relief 4. too many more to name BTW, I am starting to doubt that whole Valedictorian thing...maybe you should provide some proof -like name and school...I can look it up that way

[QUOTE="mfacek"][QUOTE="narlymech"] You forgot to highlight the actual thought I had.narlymech

So a state leaving the union isn't asinine because...it would help shake up our political parties?

Yes, leaving the Union would be a great idea to shake up the 2 parties in place now. A third or fourth party taking over is a better idea, but I take what I can get.

I'm sorry, but that is a rather extreme way of going about shaking up the existing political establishment. That is, for lack of a better term, totally asinine ;)

Well, honestly he can't be blamed for much because he's on slightly more than a figure head. The Texas governor is one of (if not the) weakest governors in the United States, he/she is pretty much irrelevant.

narlymech

Yes, but says some of the most asinine things (leaving the union) and has lobbied for the educational policies that have crippled our education system

If all the elements of the world combined, what would it make? (EVERY element, water, fire, sun, love, hate, passion, etc)

[QUOTE="GazaAli"][QUOTE="mfacek"][QUOTE="GazaAli"] dont think so,ill be in my way to heaven as i wish.

Not so fast! The Qur'an mentions many times the importance of leaving judgment to God. By saying "you'll see", you judged me to hell, which is a big no-no in virtually all major religions. Like I said, I'll see you there :).

lulz, thats why i said as i wish.i honestly wanted to say it,because in real life i always say it,but i was afraid you wouldnt understand it.

Ohh, you can't speak English properly. Awesome, you should totally be posting on an English forum.
