Also you seem to be trying to make out it being bundled now completely changes how people should percieve it, even though it's obviously just a peripheral that's been chucked in the box because they want it in more peoples homes, where as it seems like all they'll acheive is getting Xbox Ones in less people homes. 

Don't compare last gen to this coming gen. Kinect wasn't included with every console and so the games barely took advantage. There really wasn't much reason to buy even though 24 million people did.

This time around kinect IS part of the console and ISN'T just an add on. Doesn't matter if YOU think so or not.

You're one of those people that doesn't like change or option huh? Same people that wanted Sony to keep the same OLD boring controller they'd have for decades. The same people that are happy with an upgraded PS3 which adds absolutely NOTHING other than more power.

The PS3 was a year behind and it still managed to finally catch up and win the race before the next gen starts. (lol wii u...cute) What on gods name do you think the PS4 will do to the Xbone with both consoles releasing in the same month? Will the sales gap be like what the PS2 did to the Xbox?

So selling millions of kinects means it has a poor attachment rate? According to MS it sold 24 million.

What peoples opinions? Cows opinions? Your opinion? Did you ask the 24 million people what they thought of the kinect?

Kinect is an essential of the Xbox this time around. It's part of the console even if YOU don't like it. Initial cost might be high but eventually it'll come down just the PS3 and its forced BR. Did you call BR forced and not an essential part of the PS3 when it launched?

Until it gets outsold 5:1 then people can complain. I highly doubt that'll happen.

Why would I care if it gets outsold five to one...its not like its going to sell so badly its out of the console race altogether. I want it because it looks infinitely more interesting than the PS4. The Xbox One has been kinect orientated from day one, therefore it hasnt been forced on anybody since day one, if you didnt like it on day one then unfortunately the dont like it dont buy attitude seems like the obvious stance to take. Just because the new console has the Xbox title in the name doesnt mean it has to have the same set of conventions as the 360, its a silly attitude to have.

The reason im not buying a PS4 is because its power upgrade, if I was interested in power id be a PC gamer by now. The X1 is an interesting concept.always_explicit

I think youre both getting a little caught up in what you, or other individuals think about Kinect, where as the vast majority of 360 owners didnt buy the first (like me), so it seems like a rather stupid thing to have as the main focus of the next console, especially as that same vast majority has to now bear the brunt of that additional cost if they want the next console, even if they're still not interested in Kinect 2.0, and MS have done little to convince people, they've barely showcased it at all. In fact most of the news about it has just been more privacy concerns.

It's clearly not something the majority want, so it obviously should be optional. Especially when it's so expensive.

the fact the console may have been designed with Kinect in mind is even worse, considering it's attachment ratio was poor, and peoples opinions of it were even worse last gen. It was a seperate peripheral last gen, now it's just a seperate peripheral they've given up on trying to convince people is essential, and just resorted to forcing anyone who wants to buy the console (for whatever reason) to buy it aswell. My analogy seems perfect to me, because that's exactly how i see it, and i'm sure a lot of others agree. 

Also the "if you don't like it, don't buy it" mentiality is great, until it gets outsold like 5:1 by the PS4, then it just becomes obvious they've made something barely anyone wants, or is even willing to put up with.

I've never played Killzone but it doesn't seem like killzone to me. And from what i've read this game will be pretty awesome. Much better than titanfall.Joedgabe
