Lol, it obviously isnt your PC then. Try playing on servers near to you. Where do you live? It is probably the servers. If you can play fine offline it obviously isn't your PC.

I have the latest updates for everything and have reinstalled XP multiple times just to see if it would better performance. I have the latest videocard driver, so that cant be the problem. What ever the graphics setting, the performance seems to be bad no matter what . Maybe my upload speed isn't fast enough? I use my onboard nic on my motherboard to connect but it says 10/100/1000Mbps.

Well, I guess first Id find out my Down/Up load speeds. Hit up speakeasy.net and click the bandwidth test button...run a test or three and see what speeds yer gettin.

KyleGates
Download Speed: 4833 kbps (604.1 KB/sec transfer rate) Upload Speed: 495 kbps (61.9 KB/sec transfer rate) Are these speeds good? My internet connection is said to be 5mb on my ISP website.

Ok, ever since I bought bfme2 and eaw, i've had lag in these games online no matter what. My specs are- 9800gt DDR2-667mhz 2GB E8400 10krpmRaptorHD And charters cable internet service. Is charter the reason why I have extreme lag and delay each time I go online, the reason I say this is because i've upgraded my computers multiple times trying to figure out what the hell has been is causing my lag all this time, and even after all these upgrades I still have lag! My computer should be more than strong enough to play these old ass games. Anytime I play offline, the game is SUPER SMOOTH. BUT, anytime I playonline, its like watching a FREAKIN power point presentation.... YEAH REAL FUN!!!!!!!! Everything moves frame by frame, it takes like a whole minute for from frame to happen. Its like this - stop-move-stop-move-stop-move-stop-move.I can't have fun or use my skills to their full potential because of this freakin lag. Does Charter communications suck that bad for gaming?
