It's the difference between an Adventure game and an Action game really. The former was a big thing in the PS2 era, the latter is a big thing in the current generation. And the former certainly makes for a better Harry Potter game. Though to be fair, the books sort of got less adventure-oriented and more action-oriented as they went along too. Still, the PS2 games were definitely the best. And Quidditch. That game was super fun. evil_angel74

That's very true. As Harry learns more spells, there's more to fight with. The more weapons you have at your disposal, the better equipped you are for an action game.

I really enjoyed Quidditch Cup for PS2, it was kind of unbalanced, getting ridiculously difficult in the end, but it was fun. It was really cool getting to play a game devoted to Quidditch, and being able to try out different characters and brooms.

I recently picked up Valkyria Chronicles II for PSP. In less than a week, I had put in 40 hours. Every aspect of the game is interesting and well refined. The story is great, and every character is multi-sided, and interesting. Even the annoying ones add something to the story. It's the first game to really blow me away in quite a while.

Probably my dorm's 7 hour COD fest before finals week. I wasn't playing all seven hours but pretty close to it. Any number getting into the double digits seems like it's kind excesssive. I don't think I could stand playing video games for that long.

If you're looking for someone to relate to your predicament, this is the wrong place. Asking a bunch of gamers if they've ever been offended by something is just going to get you mocked.

i like good graphics on my shooters, but that's about it. Most of my favorite games are from SNES, and other systems of that era. Plus, I own a Wii, if graphics mattered to me, I would've gotten a PS3 instead.

i don't think I've ever been offended by anything in a game. Then again, I don't play games like Saints Row or GTA, I find those games to be stupid wastes of time. I don't really find killing cops and spraying crap on people amusing, it's just juvenile. I've tried GTA San Andreas, but I couldn't stay interested after the first twenty minutes.

[QUOTE="Treflis"]Or we could call them "infected" since they are, you know, infected with a parasite that takes over their body.c_rake

Is that what we're calling them nowadays? Correct me if I'm wrong (I've never played these games), but weren't the original Resident Evil zombies the result of some infection as well?

Yeah, it's all from the T-virus. It's been mutating over the years and causing different reactions in different people. There was more experiements and tampering with the virus between RE 3 and 4, which is what caused the bizzare outbreak in South America.
