@am_h8ter_ade: I will also say A Link Between Worlds was fantastic. I havent enjoyed a Zelda game like that in years. I will check out some of the other games you mentioned that I havent played yet seeing we have similar tastes so thanks for the reply. Im glad to see the 3DS have such a positive rebound from launch.

@am_h8ter_ade: I definitely agree with your post. The N64 is the last console I truly loved and I am your age also. I just feel that after that console generation games became mundane and once internet gaming came to prominence, online play trumped originality in the actual game...
Out of curiosity, what games for 3DS have sparked your new found appreciation?
I would definitely pass on Luigi's Mansion. As an adult gamer and a Nintendo fan there is an amount of childish content that I expect and can deal with. But Luigi's Mansion was off the charts kiddish. I couldnt take it after an hour or two playing this game. If you can fit the correct wooden pegs into the board without thinking too hard, I would pass on LM.
A few weeks ago I got Pikmin 2 on the Wii for 20 bucks from Target, no clue they still sold it in stores. Yesterday I went by my
Local retro store and got a holographic Majora's mask in awesome condition for $20.
Definitely things can easily slip through the cracks locally.
I picked up Pikmin 2 in the bargain bin from my Walmart for $5.
If that's true then you should have grabbed as many copies as you could have. It goes for $50 new on amazon.com if you sell privately, or amazon will buy it from you for $16. $5 is a great deal, lucky you :)
This is why we can't have nice things
If someone is so poor that they need to do what you said then they should take up a cheaper hobby
Christ, games are the lowest they've ever been and you're saying people should hoard them and screw everyone over
@jaysonguy although I generally feel you are a deuche I think if you articulated what you were trying to say in this thread a bit more delicately you may just have a point.
Ehhhh, I could see them porting over the 360 or PS3, can't see them doing much for a dead console
The thing is they wont make much off of it but they'll get Nintendo owners who don't get many games or devs thrown their way. They're pretty much begging for anything so the second someone is like "here take this" they instantly become fans.
It all depends how much work it is. I know Minecraft is coming to the Vita (and hopefully cross save with the PS4) so if they have touch controls in place maybe that would speed up the process.
Wait a minute, let me get this straight... you dont think they will do much for what you call "dead consoles", but they are porting to the vita? Does anyone still make games for that joke of a platform? You are just a hater bro
It's an amazing game..... The world's are top notch and Luigi rocks.
Seriously this is the best you can describe regarding your experience with the game???
TC I went through almost the exact same thought process (minus the family admittedly). I think its a potentially great console. Price is decent and the controller is awesome. Its a breath of fresh air over the perpetual sword fighting that PS and MS are doing. The graphics on WW HD blew me away. Not sure why I would crave something more than that if the gameplay is also great.
I feel as though momentum is picking up for the WiiU, especially after the monstrosity that is the 3DS of late. It will only benefit all of us WiiU owners as more and more people jump aboard. Enjoy
Its a great zelda. I usually do not finish zelda games but I couldnt put this one down until I beat it. Its hard to find depth in handhelds IMO, but this does it. Great game you wont be disappointed.
@ItsEvolution:
I agree. For whatever reason people just like to kill Nintendo on the internet. At least they are trying to be different than xbox and PS (which lets face it are essentially the same thing).
And talk of a failure? Lets talk about actual failures, eg the PS vita. Funny how no one talks about that...
