Well first you have to find a game that you want to mod for that has or had an active mod community at some time. Then you'll want to figure out what kind of modding you want to do, level design, texture work, programming, or all of the above for that game. Then you'll want to download the modding tools that have been released by the game developers or independently made by fans of that particular game and then search on fan websites for tutorials on how to use those tools. Then you start .playing around with the tools and trying to make various mods to the game and see if thats something you enjoy doing. And if it is, then you apply to DigiPen, get accepted, but then realize you'd be way above your neck in student loan debts by the time you graduated and end up going to a local community college where you loathe all of your classes and wish for the day you can finally transfer to a real college. :*(

This was really one of those games that you either loved or didn't. If you aren't one of the former, nobodys gonna be able to change your opinion of it.

My video game collection

So that's my PC game collection and it really bothers me that 15 games in the new DVD cases take up twice as much space as about 40 games in the old CD cases. It just really bothers me that because game publishers can't wrap their heads around the fact that the DVD cases take up so much unnecesary space just to hold 1 or 2 discs and a skinny manual I'm pretty much out of shelf space and will now have to start keeping new games unorganized on my desk or wherever. It just seems that they're trying to make the new games appear more console-esque with similar packaging for whatever reason but they can't even get the size right as the DVD cases are twice as big as any of the console game cases. *sigh*

How it'll run

And I'd recommend the boxed version so you can get the GOTY version which comes with the Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles expansion packs. Not sure if theres a D2D version that has that too.

I really enjoyed it back when it came out although not as much as the first one. Some of the humor in the second just seemed kinda forced and the locales just didn't feel as exotic as in the first one. There was also a larger number of weapons in the first one, the characters were much more enjoyable, and the multiplayer in the first one was just a total blast.

How important are graphicsWedge598

Very. If a game doesn't have them, chances are pretty good that I won't buy it.
