@tom2750 @Geminon the fact that you think there isn't much difference between BF3 and BC:2 means you didn't play them both very much. They are drastically different games.
@kane809 I loved BF 3, but went back to Bad Company 2. Got tired of how much Dice kept updating the game and screwing around with the weapons all the time. Tried playing BF 3 the other day for the first time in 6 months and the weapons felt terrible. The weapons felt to light with way to much recoil on everything. But I know one thing COD won't eat up nearly 19GB on your hard drive like BF3 does. Going to get BF4 but will never get premium again.
@Karmazyn Agreed. I sold my Bioshock infinite because I thought it was boring compared to the previous instalments. Rapture was much better and the splicers were more interesting characters/enemies. I would rebuy it just to play in Rapture more.
I've never been brand loyal. I was a Nintendo fan until N64 and then Nintendo started to sucked to me and I switched to Playstation for Resident Evil. I never got the PS3 simply because XBOX had Oblivion and there wasn't any exclusive games on PS3 that made me want both systems. But I'll be switching back to Playstation after this. I'm not paying an extra $100for a XBOX. I have no interest in motion control, or having to swing my arms wildly to play a game(Nintendo). Bye XBOX, maybe next time.
If this is the future of console gaming than this may be the last system ever for me, or I will switch back to Playstation(as long as they don't follow the same trend). I can't be the only gamer who just wants a console to play games on and that's it. I don't care about motion control....no interest in the Kinect. I might just keep my 360 and by all the games I never did play over the years....there's tons of them out there.Edit (5 minutes)
I really don't care about having an all in one media system. All I really want is a console to play games on...that's it. I don't use my current Xbox to it's full potential, nor do I have plans to. It's just there to play games on. I think there's a lot of cool factor to the new system, but I'm too old school to care about the bells and whistles. What's gonna make me buy the next system is if there's a game I really need to play, like Oblivion did for me and Xbox360.
@thegroscon I'm at about the same point and I'm feeling the same way. I play for an hour or two and then turn it off. The day before I played The Testament of Sherlock Holmes all day and beat it. Loved every minute of that game.
I've played the first two Bioshocks and Minerva's Den at least 3 times each and I'm having a hard time liking it as much. First I find it too easy, I fell like I'm blowing my way through it. It doesn't have the tension of the early Bioshocks. I miss hacking things. Taking over machines feel far too simple. And I personally prefer hacking things than having to find lock picks all the time. I've yet had to buy ammo...there's almost too much of it lying around. Rapture was also a much more scary, and eerie. I miss the splicers because so far I haven't faced anything that even made me feel remotely challenged.
