Call Of Juarez: Gunslinger is surprisingly sharp, stupid fun
Mark comes away pleasantly surprised by his first look at the latest Call Of Juarez, which brings the series back to the old west with heaps of cowboy hats, dodgy southern accents, and thoroughly satisfying six shooter action.

why does it always take 3 or more hits to take out somebody? that's emptying half the pistol for one dude.
Looks interesting, I hope there's some move/kinect support added in as the games devlopment progresses, but that's upto the devolper in the end, I would love some move/kinect support to be included, would make the game even more fun, but thats just me, thanks for the upload!
I won't say this is good or bad , it just seems I am missing something ? it looks to be like all the other challenge shooters
call of juarez gunslinger is rubbish ive said it again if you dont like my comments thats to bad.juarez is rubbish and if your upset tough get over it you idiot
Don't think it's surprisingly sharp or stupid fun. Looks a tad ugly. The way you hold the pistol is very strange, as it is the way the pistol moves towards the side you turn. Also I hate games where you and/or your foes get shot a thousand times without dying. Every game really should have a "one shot, one kill" mode, like Hardcore on Modern Warfare or Realistic on Rainbow Six Vegas 1 and 2.
I don't know what to think. I enjoyed the first one but hated the second thanks to a frustrating dueling system. I didn't even try the third one.
the difference between the 360p and 720p versions of this video are like watching two different games.
Game looks great so far, it's like a mix of Bound in Blood and Bulletstorm, take my money already. :)
Is it me or does this game look bad.. the last one they did cartel was bad as well..
I wish someone would make a really good dark and gritty western game..
Did anybody notice at the 1:35-1:37 point, the gun being reloaded is completely wrong. Anybody that knows somewhat about can clearly see on the side of the rifle is the input for the ammo and not on the bottom by the action for the lever (I have a 30-30 lever Winchester 95 right beside me loaded and if I remember right the side is where the ammo is put into the gun at... yep I am right just check to make sure).
Call of Juarez 2 was one of the best shooters I've played and it has a good storyline as well. I hope this one be the same.
Doesn't seem to have the amazing cover mechanic from Bound in Blood, which is still by far the most amazing cover mechanic Ive seen in a game.
ok, I CANT WAIT FOR THIS XD
wait wait wait,,,,wait no PC release...REALLY....say it aint so.....YOU KnOW WHAT U R....JUST A DIRTY SON OF A ** WAAAHHAAAA, waaaaaa waaaaaa waaaaaaaa **
I love the wild west and Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood was probably the best western video game made until RDR came out. The Cartel was a huge disappointing just because of the modern day setting which was just stupid. If they are coming back to the west though sign me up. There are just not enough games based on this setting. Also is there multiplayer?
@maxpatne1940 very bad comment .... do not do it agin
@maxpatne1940 very bad comment .... dont do it agin
@Caldrin It's just you. I've watched every Let's Play on YouTube and this game looks G-R-E-A-T. Check 'em out.
@Caldrin read dead redemption?
@C-P-30 You better tell anybody who is making this game that
@C-P-30 I'm sure this game was going for a gun simulator... This looks like Outlaws...
@C-P-30 NOW WE KNOW!
It is on PC... I got an email stating that fact. Here is a quote from it.
"Ubisoft's Old West shooter coming to PSN, Xbox Live, and PC next month for $15; PC purchasers get free copy of Bound in Blood."
So you can stop crying now? lol.
If you buy it for the PC and you get a full title of Bound in Blood with it, then you should start laughing now instead!
@TERMINATOR-SSD Um.....dont cry? o_0
@shureshot24 Whatever the console haters and RDR fanboys say (and yes, I enjoy RDR), COJ:BIB is a classic. The gunfighting feels weighty and real, and the story is well-told and engaging. Being that RDREDEMPTION isn't linear and the revenge storyline is very simple, I have to give the story edge to COJ:BIB. That story has stayed with me... Anyway, both are great games and there can't be enough Old West games IMHO.
@shureshot24 Glad I'm not alone in my love for Bound in Blood. I had so much fun blasting my way through that game.
@shureshot24 No, Outlaws by Lucasarts was the best western game before Red Dead Redemption. Gun was a good game too.
@JLCrogue @shureshot24 Although different developer, GUN was an early template for what RDRedemption would become. Fun game but kinda ridiculous storyline as I remember. With a basic revenge storyline and using a soundtrack of songs from actual 60's/70's Spaghetti Westerns (still can't igure out how they licensed all that music!), RDRevolver is certainly the best Western game to replicate the atmosphere of Italian Westerns. Brilliant. Although I'm not a big fan of OUTLAWS (although I am of LucasArts) it was one of the first Western FPS... has a good soundtrack... and spins a good yarn.
