"I wasn't planning on teleporting the rest of you," said Peter to Ira as they looked at the destruction Adam caused. "I'm just not a fan of traveling in large groups." Peter turned to Adam. "Yeah, explosions... whatever."

"Why are  we with these idiots, Peter?" asked Lexine.

"Don't ask..." 

Peter shrugged. "Teleporting would be faster."

While the group was "falling" to the castle, Lexine was following by running along rooftops. She jumped down and Peter caught her. "So glad you could of joined us."

She rolled her eyes and didn't comment.

While everyone was headed out of Lexine's house, Tori walked to the door that lead down to the lab. There was a key pad, with a retinal scanner, next to it. She hit a few numbers on it and then scanned her right eye. Tori turned away from the door and it made a locking sound. She headed outside with the others, picking up Danial along the way. Once everyone was outside, Tori locked the house with a key and the group headed off to the castle.

OOC: There's something wrong with s0's computer so he may be gone for a while.

While the others talked about how creep they all were, Peter tapped his ear piece and the mic came out. "Lexine, where are you?"

"P-Peter? Are you alright? We watched you explode and then you were gone," Lexine replied.

"Yeah, yeah, I'm fine. I'm at Newton's place right now. Where are you?"

"Well I sent the two assassins back to my house with Sirvanna, Gentoo and I are still headed to your location."

"Cool, favor. Have Gentoo track down Babylon's friend and bring him to your house. Meanwhile, come here and we'll all head out when you get here."

"Will do. Gentoo says he knows who you're talking about and will bring him in shortly." 

Peter looked up for a moment and saw the others were still talking, namely Babylon asking if he could help out. Peter tapped his mic again, this time trying to get a hold of Danial. "Hey, Danial, you there? So I know you're at Lexine's house. Stay there. Don't do anything stupid. Two assassins will be coming with Sirvanna shortly. I want you to stay put until I get there with everyone so we can make a plan. Oh, and make sure Tori is there too."

After that, Peter turn back to the group. "Alright, here's the plan. We're going to wait for Lexine to show up then head to her house. It should be a safe place to stay and will work nice as a base of operations as we plan out our next move. I've got someone working on tracking down your friend, Babylon. Don't worry, he'll find him. It's what he does. As far as binding goes, the person I feel will be best is already at Lexine's house, so we will do that once we get there. Lucky for us we have a little time, Renovir's merry band of do gooders are in the middle of fighting Garritios right now. While I don't think they will be able to beat him, it'll give us time to regroup and come up with a way to stop him. Plus, if he kills them, that's five less fighters we need to worry about when it comes to fighting Renovir."

"Yeah, no," said Peter as he sat up. "When ever I got close to him, something happened. Last time I could of killed him, we were down inside a spire core. I would of tried something then, but I had to make sure Babylon got out of there with the emerald. I also had a wounded man with me, though Lenny escorted Danial back to Lexine's house for safety. So when it came down to it, it would of been a two on six on one fight, because Renovir's merry band of do gooders was down there trying to get people to convert and take the emerald. Even if we ganged up on Garritios, they were ready to turn on me and Lexine the second he was dead."

Peter stopped for a moment. He looked up at Adam and gave him a toothy grin. "But it's more fun like this, isn't it?"

"So... I guess this would where I ask a pointless question to show concern abut your present state," said Lexine.

"I-it's nothing," muttered Peter as he tried to get up. "W-we need to talk to Newton..."

Lexine looked a bit confused. "Wait, shouldn't we just head back to my house, or track down that small guy who ran off with Danial?"

Peter shook his head. "Lenny... knows where you... live..."

"I'll look past the fact how creepy it is from someone I don't know knows where I live. Anyway, why Newton?"

"H-he is our... best bet at finding Bablyon..."

"I don't see the connection, wasn't he on your side?"

"H-he is a... friend of someone who is on... Bablyon's side..."

Lexine started to see where Peter was going with this. She wasn't sure if it was the heat at first, but now she understood. Because of her slight knowledge of Kyson, she knew about where to find Newton. "Alright, if you can walk, we'll go."

Before Peter managed to take his first step, a voice rang down from the top of a building. "Mind if we tag along?" Lexine recognized the voice. It was Gentoo. The penguin and two other assassins, once of which was carrying a third, jumped down to join Lexine and Peter. "Sorry for not contacting you earlier. I was knocked out during a spire attack. When I finally came to, my communicator was broken and all the assassins had taken off. I made my way down where when I can into these three who were hiding. They said they were told my Peter to find a place to get medical treatment for the girl, but came under fire when they got near the Inner District. Some of their squad members baited their assailants while these two ducked down into the underground to see if they could safely travel somewhere else. I ran into them not too long ago."

"At least you're safe, Gentoo," said Lexine. "And it's nice to see that Sirvanna is accounted for. Normally, I would just have to return to my house, but I'm not too sure about Peter here."

Gentoo nodded and replied, "don't worry. We'll help you escort him, Mistress." 

The group wasn't getting far very fast, though, since Peter was having a hard time walking. Lexine didn't want the others to touch him since she could tell he was really burning.

"Listen to Mizulan, Danial," said Tori as she walked out from the basement laboratory. "This is no time for stupid actions." She looked around and noticed that Lexine wasn't with them. "By the way, where's Lexine? She said she was going to bring you back."
