Lexine stopped the doctor mid-sentence. "Doc, listen. Just send me somewhere and I'll help out. While the medical field isn't my specialty, I have enough general knowledge to help out anywhere." She was trying to speed things along so she could check out what was going on with the robians.

Meanwhile, Peter edged close to where the guild masters were. He found someone standing nearby them as well and starting making small talk with them as he listened in on the guild masters. They were up to something, he could tell.

I've been busy since I pretty much take care of my dad's house while my aunt it out of town, plus other things. (Oh and the Internet here is horrible. It's easier for me to make posts from my phone when it's on 4G, I just don't because I hate typing long posts on it.) I'll try to be better in the future about it.

-----

Lexine watched as the guy dug around in his pocket for his wallet. He turned around to look at her and said, "well it seems I've missed placed something. Do you mind waiting while I go look for it? I should only be a moment."

She smiled and nodded in response. "I need to go to the bathroom anyway. I'll come right back when I'm done." She turned around and headed for the bathrooms, which she noticed while they were walking. Sure enough, Peter was waiting for her outside of them. As she walked inside, the teleported the wallet into Peter's bag. Then, Lexine washed her hands and walked back out. "Here," she said as she stopped next to him. Lexine handed Peter an ear piece just like her own. "Give me a second and I'll sync it to your comm." Peter dug around in his bag, noticed the wallet, and pulled out the comm. Lexine grabbed it from him and his a small red button that was on the comm and ear piece. Then she handed both to him and quickly explained how to bring out the mic and the flashlight feature she built into these models. With that, she left Peter to go play around in the back while she headed back to the door where she left the guild master.

"You heard him, Peter. Stay out of trouble and look for our friend," Lexine added as she rubbed behind her right ear. The two of them locked eyes for a moment. Since they were young they had formed a way to plan out stuff just by looking at each other; a skill they learned from By-Tor. Peter replied by touching the brim of his hat and turning around to look around. He bent his teleportation powers to the remote teleport powers he was going to before. This time, he pushed the power into Lexine (and Danial). Meanwhile, Lexine followed the guild master closely to find the doctor. Before making it all the way there, Lexine could feel the new power in her. She thought about the wallet hard and then it appeared in her hands. She was surprised, but saved it for later. She stuck the wallet inside her robes before the guy noticed.

"We would love to help out with the relief project," said Lexine as she step up to the guild official to shake his hand. She had a pretty good idea of how the security was set up, and looked over the guy for a keycard "We only have one problem, like most people here, we are looking for someone who could be injured." She paused for a moment to think. "Actually, I know a thing or two about medical treatment. Would you mind if I go with you and my friend has a look around to see if he can find our other friend?"

OOC: It's OK barren, I enjoyed our time together.

-----

To make the most of the bright light, Lexine dove under what she thought was the table. She would of slide under the table and came to a stop smoothly, but there was a large green thing in her way that she couldn't make out all the way due to the light and-

Ouch. Lexine knocks over Peter, who had been rubbing his head from bumping the table when he came in. "Damn it," he muttered under his breath, "I thought this room was empty."

"Empty? What do you mean? You caused the bright flash? You piece of..." Lexine blinked and sat up slowly as to avoid hitting her head on anything. Oh, it was Peter. Wait, Peter? What was he doing here? And more importantly, why was he in the way of her slide under the table? "What are you doing here, Peter?"

"I should ask you the same thing, Lexine. But this isn't the place," Peter replied and then pointed at the people who were having a party. "We should leave first."

Lexine nodded and thought for a moment. She snapped her figures as she got a half decent idea. Peter began to freak out as Lexine started to remove her robes, though calmed down when he saw that she was wearing her normal clothes underneath. She handed him her robes and told him to make a run for it was she had everyone's attention and to meet her on the next floor up.

With that, Lexine popped up from under the table and began to laugh. "Hey, guys sorry about that, I dropped my folk. When I went to pick it up, I tried to use my flash light but it caused a bright flash and shorted out. I hope you're all having a food time. The foods great and the company is too, but I need to head out. There are some... matters I need to attended to."

While Lexine was talking, Peter slipped out from under the table and ran into the hallway. He waited at a corner that would be out of sight and out of ear shot for the loud party that was going on. Lexine made her way out too, since the party guests didn't care at all about her. She spotted Peter and walked up to him and took her robes back. When no one was looking, she slipped them back on and turned her attention to Peter.

"OK, what are you doing here? I thought you were after Garritios."

Peter shrugged. "Followed him, and then Sirvanna showed up and well she fell off a building. Still alive though. He ran off, and I followed him again, this time underground and then some robots showed up and I really didn't feel like fighting an army. So I teleported off, but miscalculated and ended up top and out of power. I decided that I'd use the broken spire here in the castle to make my way back down and see if I could get that damn fourth chaos emerald. You?"

"Danial went missing after attacking a spire. I have location, but I decided to let him wait a bit because I was curious as to why they were bringing scrap metal to the castle. Turns out they are looking to repair the spire here and use it as a weapon. You might of heard the place is on lock down, well that's because I blew their trucks up," replied Lexine.

"Wait, he's in trouble? Let's go!" exclaimed Peter, pulling on Lexine arm so that she would follow.

"Idiot," she said as she smacked him. "I thought you were going after the emerald."

"I'd rather see that Danial is alright before I go after any emerald. Sirvanna and Rana are down because of me, I don't need him like that too."

Lexine paused for a second and thought about it. "Fine, how far can you teleport us?"

"Outside of the castle to the alleyway I teleported from. Not much further than that."

"Good enough for me. We're headed to the NMG."

Peter nodded and teleported the both of them back to the alleyway he came from. From there, they headed off to the NMG to see if that's where Danial really was.

Peter was thankful that the guard didn't ask about the giant sword strapped to his back, as he thought that would of got him in trouble with these guards in the first place. When the guard told him that he needed to wait, Peter quickly informed the guard that he only wanted inside so he could pick up someone he had left off. He told the guard that he was a Royal Messager, and while delivering a package a few days ago, he forgot something inside the castle. The reason why I didn't come to get it sooner was that he was out of town for the last few days, taking care of an ill family member. Peter had just returned to the city today, finding out it was in ruins. The entire day he had been trying to get inside of Inner District, but he was stopped due to security reasons.

Backing away from the guard, Peter thanked him for his time, listening to his story, and doing his job. After turning around, Peter began walking away from the castle. When he felt the guard was no longer concurred about him, Peter turned a corner and headed down an ally way. The talk had given Peter more than enough time to judge the distance it was to the second floor. He figured that he was more than enough of his strength back to teleport that far without passing out. He did begin to wonder who would attack the castle. He knew that Danial and the other assassins were going after spires, but he thought the one here had already been taken care of. Regardless of who it was, Peter just hoped the guards didn't find him before the other person.

Another reason Peter had gagued in a quick conversation with the guard, to find a room on the second floor that wasn't part of the dinner party. While he thought it would be fun to teleport in and surprise them all, and try to play it off as a magic trick for their party, he knew that would of been a dumb move. He found a room that didn't have its lights on, so Peter aimed for that room. First he made sure no one was looking, then he teleported inside of the castle.

Meanwhile in the vent, Lexine had covered her mouth and nose the second she smelt the gas. She pulled out a knife and started to move faster than before. In less than fifteen seconds, she found what she was looking for. It was a closed vent. keeping her mouth covered, Lexine pried the vent open with her knife and rolled out of the vent system. Normally she would of waited a second to let the small amout of pain to pass, but she didn't have the time. Gas was now entering the first floor right above her, and she also figured that a guard would of heard her fall. Looking around, she found that she had landed near a stairwell and she could hear noises coming from the next floor up. They didn't sound like guards, but more like a party was going on. So, she'd head up there for now. So that's what she did after making sure no one was around or coming down the stairs.

After being passed out in some trash for a while, Peter woke up with a major head ache. He started to pull himself up, knocking off a banana peel as he did, and tried to get a good idea where he had landed in his haste attempt of an escape. Normally, he would of probably had just got into a fight, but he didn't want to chance it with that many robots around. After looking around, he noticed that he was inside the Inner District. He had planned to land somewhere inside of the Inner District, but he was hoping for it to be underground.

Peter weighed his options. One, he could try and get out of the Inner District and find a hole in the ground. Problem with that was the wall was still heavily guarded, and he could still see one of the spire there standing. And that was the closest part of the wall to him. Two, he could head for the castle. Which was probably on lock down thanks to everything that was going on. It would be hard for him to get inside. Three, he could teleport. No wait, he couldn't as that last one drained most of his energy. He could do some short bursts, or use his speed, but that was about it for now. Four, he could wait for something interesting to happen. That was lame and wouldn't get him any closer to his goals. So no. He could probably head down to where the other spire should of been, but that would take a lot of time as well. Plus, a potral could easily spot him and that would be that.

As he dug around in his bag for the First Aid kit, Peter sighed. At this point he didn't feel like going after Garritios anymore and just wanted to grab the last emerald and find a place to sleep. Somewhere quite that people weren't killing each other. Somewhere he felt at home. Peter found the First Aid ket and pulled out a bottle of aspirin. He took two and swallowed them down. He throw the bottle back into the kit and threw the kit back into his bag. Once he got the bag rusticated on his back, Peter made his choice. He headed off to the castle.

-----

Lexine began heading up the vent. There wasn't anything she could do about their plans at the moment, but it was nice to have information. Repairing the spire was something she wasn't going to let happen on her watch. Well, after Danial had been accounted for. As much as she didn't really care for him, he was technically his boss.

Peter had planned on teleporting the robain's gun into his own hands. That wasn't going to happen now. Yeah. So instead, Peter unbent the teleportation powers. He raised his hand, and said, "hey, um, I'd like to say something before this all goes down. I don't wear pants... Yeah, and I don't have to pee. Just wanted to walk over there and let Garritios deal with these guys." Peter removed his hat and scratched his head. "As for giving up, um..." He put his hat back on. "Yeah, no." Peter teleported as far to the north and east as he could.

-----

After a quick sigh, Lexine pulled back her hood. She gathered up her hair, pulled out a hair tie, and then put her hair up in a pony-tail. Now that her hair was out of the way, you could fully see her ear piece. She tapped on it twice causing a shaft to extend out of it which was a mic. Since she was not planning on putting out a call at the moment, she adjusted the mic up to eye level and then tapped on her ear piece again. A small light shined from the tip of the mic which gave her enough light to see somewhat in the otherwise dark room. After grabbing a gun off of one of the dead guards, Lexine looked around for a vent to escape through.

Peter was walking with his hands behind his head and his eyes closed as he followed along the other two to their destination. The moment he had appeared in front of them, Peter had started to bend his teleporting powers to a remote teleportation (basically, he sees something and can teleport the object without touching it). When Garritios asked his question, Peter waited a minute before responding. "Hm? Oh, is that to me? Kind of hard to tell when you don't address either of us or label anything you're talking about. Proper nouns help, because they are like key words. Anyway, they just wanted to invite you to a tea party. Since I had been nearby there earlier today, they asked me to fetch you. That's all."

Peter opened one eye, not to look at Garritios' reaction (because he already knew what that would be), but to see about how far back the robains were. "Oi! Bossman!" said Peter, tapping the robain guard on his shoulder. "Can we make a quick pit stop? I had this huge 90-something-or-other drink before I jumped down here and raced over to find you guys, and man do I have to go. I know you robots don't have to do this kind of thing, but I'm not so lucky. I'll just be over there in eye sight, and hey if I try to run just shoot me. You're a good shot, right? And if you don't trust me, you can take my sword and give it to your boss and tell him it has some magic properties. Which is true, by the way. I just got to take a piss and I can tell we are not going to get anywhere fast."

-----

A huge smile grew on Lexine's face as the spot light hit the truck she was in. She quickly drew her gun and shot out the spotlight. While the guards scrambled to find out what happened, she popped up, tossed a three-second delayed sticky grenade in each truck, and then jumped out of the one she was in. While the explosions went off, Lexine threw her gun in the air and pulled out two sonic boomerangs. She threw both of them at groups of guards that were starting to form up, which the noise brought them to their knees, and caught her gun again. She pointed it behind her and to the right and fired. A guard dropped dead.

It was safe to say that Lexine was having a little fun with this.

-----

Gentoo handed the robain head to the other assassin and told him he would be riding back down once they hit the top. After he hit bottom, Gentoo would throw down a rope and then proceed with destroying the spire. He also informed the assassin to prepare the team for and attack on the Robain Underground as they were going to us it to make it to the other spire.

"And we are here to subdue the prisoner now," said Peter, teleporting near Garritios and the robian guard. He stood at attention, saluting the guard. "No sign of this 'Peter' fellow he has been talking about." After a quick flick of his wrist, Peter dropped his arm arm down to his side and waited for orders, looking serious the entire time.

-----

Lexine was far more intrested in seeing what they wanted with the metal than saving Danial at this point, so she decided to wait it out. He was a big boy anyway, she thought, and he could handle himself for a bit.

-----

While it was nice to see the spire was open, which made Gentoo's job rather simple, he was uneasy about it. He turned to two assassins and told them he head back to their HQ and inform him of what was going on there. In the meantime, Gentoo headed into the spire with another assassin and the robian head. The rest of the team was to wait until the spire was down and they were to return for Gentoo's plan of attack.
