OOC: It's OK barren, I enjoyed our time together.

To make the most of the bright light, Lexine dove under what she thought was the table. She would of slide under the table and came to a stop smoothly, but there was a large green thing in her way that she couldn't make out all the way due to the light and-
Ouch. Lexine knocks over Peter, who had been rubbing his head from bumping the table when he came in. "Damn it," he muttered under his breath, "I thought this room was empty."
"Empty? What do you mean? You caused the bright flash? You piece of..." Lexine blinked and sat up slowly as to avoid hitting her head on anything. Oh, it was Peter. Wait, Peter? What was he doing here? And more importantly, why was he in the way of her slide under the table? "What are you doing here, Peter?"
"I should ask you the same thing, Lexine. But this isn't the place," Peter replied and then pointed at the people who were having a party. "We should leave first."
Lexine nodded and thought for a moment. She snapped her figures as she got a half decent idea. Peter began to freak out as Lexine started to remove her robes, though calmed down when he saw that she was wearing her normal clothes underneath. She handed him her robes and told him to make a run for it was she had everyone's attention and to meet her on the next floor up.
With that, Lexine popped up from under the table and began to laugh. "Hey, guys sorry about that, I dropped my folk. When I went to pick it up, I tried to use my flash light but it caused a bright flash and shorted out. I hope you're all having a food time. The foods great and the company is too, but I need to head out. There are some... matters I need to attended to."
While Lexine was talking, Peter slipped out from under the table and ran into the hallway. He waited at a corner that would be out of sight and out of ear shot for the loud party that was going on. Lexine made her way out too, since the party guests didn't care at all about her. She spotted Peter and walked up to him and took her robes back. When no one was looking, she slipped them back on and turned her attention to Peter.
"OK, what are you doing here? I thought you were after Garritios."
Peter shrugged. "Followed him, and then Sirvanna showed up and well she fell off a building. Still alive though. He ran off, and I followed him again, this time underground and then some robots showed up and I really didn't feel like fighting an army. So I teleported off, but miscalculated and ended up top and out of power. I decided that I'd use the broken spire here in the castle to make my way back down and see if I could get that damn fourth chaos emerald. You?"
"Danial went missing after attacking a spire. I have location, but I decided to let him wait a bit because I was curious as to why they were bringing scrap metal to the castle. Turns out they are looking to repair the spire here and use it as a weapon. You might of heard the place is on lock down, well that's because I blew their trucks up," replied Lexine.
"Wait, he's in trouble? Let's go!" exclaimed Peter, pulling on Lexine arm so that she would follow.
"Idiot," she said as she smacked him. "I thought you were going after the emerald."
"I'd rather see that Danial is alright before I go after any emerald. Sirvanna and Rana are down because of me, I don't need him like that too."
Lexine paused for a second and thought about it. "Fine, how far can you teleport us?"
"Outside of the castle to the alleyway I teleported from. Not much further than that."
"Good enough for me. We're headed to the NMG."
Peter nodded and teleported the both of them back to the alleyway he came from. From there, they headed off to the NMG to see if that's where Danial really was.
