@TheShadowCookie Frankly, its not immature hate and certainly not non-intelligent answers, its information from Dyacks own mouth and provably history, gathered from his 5 interview segments and this website, while you don't agree with the "comedic" terms it doesn't change the information.

The fact is this guy has made 9 games in the last 20+ years, only 3 in the last decade, of those 3 only one managed to score according to this very website above a 5.5, which was a Gamecube game that was released 9 years ago. His last 2 games scored 5.5 and 4 respectively.

Given this "success" his opinion past his own tiny sphere of game development is not really all that expert past the information about the game he, himself is creating. If I made a few games in the last decade that has had very marginal success, would that make me an expert on the trends and fluctuation in the industry, I don't think it would. So pardon me and others who feel similarly that don't believe this man is a proper mouthpiece for the game industry, developers or consumers.

@Aphyosemion The way this has gone on, he hasn't given one interview, it has been 5 "mini interviews" that touch on at least 10 different topics in the game industry.

While I would agree with his reply's regarding his company (past and present) as typical managerial statements, his statements concerning aspects completely outside his control is irksome.

@CyberDild It was arbitrarily trying to build tension and suspense I guess.

Thank god this is the Final Segment of these interviews....

Well, after watching this I have to admit I learned nothing, this guy still comes across to me as some asshat with "all" the answers, any questions he doesn't like he just sidesteps. I'm still willing to bet that he shopped this game around and no one wanted to buy it since his last 2 games flopped. Mind you these last two games had that mentioned publisher feedback/ third watchful eye.

Also would have it killed the guy to speak the hell up?

@escopab @kade1001 It would still be a better cost move to support on a limited bases what WiiUs that have been sold and still go full force towards a new console that competes better

1st party titles may sell hardware but they wont sell hardware forever. It takes a stable 3rd party representation to make the game system last. I mean that's common sense considering the development time it takes for games

@Reuwsaat if their system could play the games that are current and same ones you would find on PS and Xbox systems as well as their own Nintendo flavored games that would be great, but alas they don't, not really.

The day I can buy new GTA for a Nintendo system is the day I pony up the money and jump on the Nintendo bandwagon.
